[ Previously… Unboxing - 1 Base - 2 Skeleton - 3-4-5 Showcase and hull - 6 Lower deck - 7-8 Decks and hulls of stern - 9/10 Bow decks and port hulls]
Have I told you guys how much I’m loving this kit?
The build, the details, the complexity, the intrincaty of it… Everything is coming together in a way that doesn’t cease to amaze me!
Step 11 was one of those fun don’t get annoyed if that thing doesn’t fit in that hole that easily kind of things
we’ll get there. First you’re adding some black hull and the thick base of the bow deck:
Then yeah, the fun part comes! I’m loving those metalic details that come on deck. And now we even have some chains! Those were tricky to add, let me tell you that, but I did enjoyed and laughed at the process of I told you to go in there, you fjodsofb ![]()
See those two small square-ish white parts? You’re supposed to stick it to each other and then stick them to the deck part in their corresponding place. If you ever build this, be aware of the precise position! The holes in the top white part are supposed to be aligned with the long holes on deck, I guess you’ll use them for something later in the building process. I don’t know yet! I don’t like to spoil myself further than where I am in the instructions, so the next steps of the building process will always be a challenging (or not) surprise ![]()
And voilà! The bow of the Titanic will look pretty different and nicer now. Look! The front view of it it’s getting gorgeous already.
It’s almost there, I can smell it!
So there are 4 steps left in the manual, and looking at the amount of pages left, they’re gonna be longer than the previous ones. But it’s gonna look FANTASTIC, I can’t believe it otherwise! Today is my gf’s Birthday and we’re travelling for the weekend (@Wenbare looking forward to it!) so I’ll be back with you next… Tuesday or Wednesday, probably! But yeah, next week will mean the end of this fantastic Titanic journey. I’ll keep you posted asap! Take care and have a great weekend you guys ![]()
