Last weekend I forgot to update about the Titanic. I did build something but not that much.
On Saturday I had my meetup with and afterwards I was just too tired to do anything at all .
Sunday I spent the entire afternoon and evening at my parents. Helping my mom finishing her kit from the meetup and an Eiffel Tower to replace the one I gave to the participants whose lights weren’t working anymore. And I worked on a new DIY project there. I never would have guessed, but this project has got me hooked (until now, I think the most difficult things that I don’t really like are still to come). I will definitely post about this later.
But all this resulted in just a little progress on my Titanic.
Last time I finished the stern, now I have build more on the bow of the ship and closed the starboard side. Tonight I will continue this one because I really want to give another update and make some more progress now.
I paid extra attention to the small additions on the decks since I know they are very fragile. Until now with success, I hope I can keep it up like this .
keep the light strands snug! keep sanding and waxing! you are getting there! The smoke stacks can be a little challenging with the ropes. Do what you can. She is a beauty!
That’s beautiful and I think there’s something really nice about taking your time and going slow. In this world, we are not encouraged to do that very much!
Hi Minus_88, your Voyager progress already shows so much care in the bow and starboard side. Taking your time after a busy weekend makes the build feel even more meaningful!
