5-6: The first wall is joining the party
I wanted to finish this before the Easter break here in Spain, but time was running against me ![]()

So… I didn’t finish, I just almost finished. Lol.
But as I was checking the manual, the incoming steps seemed easy enough. So let’s go then! Quick reminder of what I’ve done so far:
Oh, and there’s also the other wall, the one that hasn’t been attached yet:
Let’s go then! Before doing so there are a few details left to add to the “main structure” of the Book Nook though. What’s first? Well, we still have built a Mask Shop that has no door. We don’t want any intrepit Italian thief taking anything of value from there, right?

No we don’t! So firstly we’re adding the door to it. It fits on the ground so it’s not a movable one you can open or close at will, but that’s not too big an issue. The inside can still be seen pretty easily! And it’ll be even better once the build is done and the lights are on.
But for now, just the door! Well, not just the door. The door is sad and lonely by itself, so let’s add a plantpot to the equation, shall we?
Yeah, much better!
Oh, and for God’s sake, ignore the background. I know I have some clothes on that chair. Home chores are coming after the build, I promise! Don’t think of me as a disaster. I’m not.
I think.

Okay, what’s next? Oh yeah, that wall still needs some decoration. A fancy blue door and a sign, for starters!
This wall is definitely easier to decorate than the first one.
For now, at least!

Let’s see… Yeah, it’s still pretty easy! We add another plant. And a fence!
Who doesn’t like a fence? Specially if it’s preventing you to fall in the canal if you’re paying too much attention to your phone while you’re walking.
Believe me, it can happen.

I don’t understand why someone will focus on their phone while walking through the beautiful Venice? We pay too much attention to those little stupid machines nowadays lol.

Well, let’s keep decorating the wall. See how I’m making it seem longer when everything I’ve done so far is adding four little things here and there? I do love waffle on.
Next but not least on that wall! The… Hmm. How do you call that? I don’t even know how to call it in my own mother tongue, the Spanish language. Well, THAT thing was made out of some of those pastel colour parts and fit to the wall.
I honestly have no idea what’s the word for that in either language lol. So let’s call it Lucas. Say hi to Lucas, folks!

After that, it’s time to finally fit the other wall to the ecuation!
Let me tell you something. This is my fourth Book Nook (second one if you only count Rolife) and this was the easiest wall-assembly I’ve delt with so far regarding the Book Nook walls. I’ve previously had issues while pressuring, fitting everything together, etc. But this one fit pretty easily and smoothly! Nice, nice.
This is taking a real proper shape now! There are only a few things left. For today we’re only adding two of them: the mirror (so it’ll look like an endless Venetian canal street, instead of being able to see the door to my bahtroom through it lol) and the back cover!
And this is how it looks so far. Amazing!
Oh, and the covers are awesome too! Not too colourful but pretty classy.
Sadly I can’t finish it now! Too much to do already. we’ll see if I can do something about it during the Easter break
there are still a few steps left that include the top and front covers and all the mumbo jumbo with the wires! Those are the ones that’ll take most of the remaining building time, I’m afraid.
But not today!

Happy Easter! And see you/read you around!
