And I thought I was gonna finish this kit today! Sadly I didn’t have as much time as I thought. It was a nice heads up though! So this is me trying to build everything that will be built in my incoming meetup:
-
Wooden Flower Basket
So yeah, since last time I crafted all the “main wooden flowers”, I thought to myself… “Well! Monday I’ll sit there and finish this book”. HUH! I haven’t even started the book itself, for God’s sake.

Well, tomorrow will be the day. I’m sure of it
there were just a few more things to build. Last time I ended up with The Fantastic Four ready for business:
And they had each their separate kit-inside-the-kit, so today we’ll properly starting with the “main kit” that includes:
So yeah! When I saw that I realized how naive I was being about I’ll finish this today, easy peasy
no way I was gonna use all those parts today before lunch!

Oh, btw! I forgot about this. The Fantastic Four separate kits included each two tiny bugs.
So glad I’ve noticed and saved them for later! They could’ve been easily missed and if so they would’ve been in the trash with the sheets.

Moving on! The first thing to build today was a ribbon that, according to the picture, should be that thingy at the front of the book. Cute! I was a bit scared about the folding parts as usual, but nothing broke so far. Nice!
And after that… A postcard! Well, a sign with a postcard. A postsign? Not sure how to call this little fellow! It’s cute though.
And here’s my first complaint already! So soon? Yeah, so soon. That’s me, folks.

Okay, le’t’s get into business. I had to build a light eucalyptus. It should’ve been an easy peasy, shouldn’t it? But… Okay, hear my out. Wooden sheets of parts A and B are not friendly! You’re making light and dark eucalyptus out of those, two of each. And those parts are not only fragile, it’s also SO easy to break or damage them while removing them from the sheets. Oh no! So there are 4 different sizes of eucalyptus petals here. Funny enough, sizes 1 and 4 provide spares, and 2 and 3 are the ones I broke. Lucky me!

I mean, look at that petal missing that side. And see the missing 3? That’s the 3 petal I broke in half. Lol.
Anyway! I added a spare 4 to that 3 spot. I won’t tell it if you don’t tell it ![]()

Moving on! Those two light eucalyptus are joining the… Postsign? In a longer stem. Mission accomplished!
Well, not really, because now we have to build another 2 eucalyptus, the dark ones. Yay! I took care of that quickly so I wouldn’t get too frustrated about those fragile parts.
Those two were easier and nothing broke this time though! Nice, nice. Karma wasn’t being a beach.

What now? Now… We’re done with the wooden parts! (for now, that is). Time for some plastic plants! This was easy and fast enough though. I just had to take some of these:
And turn them into these:
Beautiful and cute enough! There were still some plastic plant parts remaining, but I guess I’ll be saving those for later!
So what else..? The last step for today was something I wasn’t really understanding lol. Let’s see. Last time and today I’ve been building some wooden flowers, right? And a postcard-sign. For all of those I had to build the flowers/main things and then add a long wooden stem to them. Okay, all good, everything cool.
So… For the next step, I have to remove ALL of those stems for the flowers and the sign and substitute each of them for a small wooden-coloured part? It seems odd, like… Why did I have to build and fit all of those stems then? Is this anarchy? Lol.

I don’t understand it, but I’ll go with the flow. This is the way, I guess!

We’re done for today then! This is everything I’ve built so far:
I hope tomorrow I’ll finish the whole thing, finally!
But before saying goodbye, kindly join me in a minute of silence to honor our fallen and soon forgotten stems. They’ll be deeply missed.

That’ll be all for today, folks. I’ll bring more (and hopefully the last update on this kit) tomorrow. More blooming and less glooming though ![]()
See you/read you around!
