Happy Easter to y’all! Or shouldn’t I say it yet? I’m always a bit confused about it. It’s done already anyway ![]()

Have I told you how much I’m loving this Book Nook? It may be an old design (you can see some stuff is not as realistic as in most recent releases) but it really does the job, and I’m in love with the choice of colours and display. So let’s get into business!
Until now we have made it this far:
It seems like it’s time to start working with the second wall! So the first one I’ve built (the one with the Gondola Shop and the Coffee place) still needs to rest and wait for his turn. I hope he doesn’t get too lazy!

So for this second wall, the first thing to do is… Stickers! This kit comes with a decent amount of them, and ALL of them require you to be 100% precise on the position and alignment when sticking them to whichever surface they’re supposed to be stick to. I’m getting an expert on this lol.

I’m not gonna say it too loud though, I don’t wanna jinx it.

But yeah, I’ve first-timed them to this wall, yay to me!
Unlike the first wall that I needed to almost fully decorate, this one is joining the main structure of the Book Nook right after adding those three stickers to it! That was quick, but it also means that the building is gonna start taking a proper shape. Yay!
So we fit it to the base on the Mask Shop side and we add a second floor to that shop. And guess what goes on the wall of that second floor?
Another sticker!

It’s the last one in the kit though. THE LAST ONE! That means no more stickers for this Book Nook.

So this is how this thing is looking so far. Pretty cool, huh?
You don’t see it but I also had to add one of the two lights to the ceiling of the ground level of that shop! That’s convenient, yeah. Otherwise nobody would be able to see what’s in there! Who knows? Maybe somebody want it to be the Scary Mask Shop of Horrors.

Anyway ![]()
After that we’re going pretty straightforward completing the build of that shop. We add some plants and some fences…
And yet more fences and the main facade! So there’s only the door missing there at this point.
A door that won’t be joining us today! Bad door. Why are you hiding from me? Do you want that poor Mask Shop to be defenseless?

But no, it seems like we’re adding the main light of this Book Nook! It’s not complicated to put together, although those tiny wire-holders were particularly tricky to fit, mainly because of the position of the other parts and the fact that you need to keep those wires in between. It took some time! But it wasn’t impossible. I wasn’t able to 100% fit them through the holes though…

But it should work enough this way!
And after some fit those wires through here and there through the build steps we all deeply know by now, our main light is finally set in place!
I like the looks of it, don’t you? A street light hanging between buildings in those narrows Venetian streets through which the canals go. Lovely.
The last thing to do today is gonna be the awning for the mask shop! And in order to do so I’m gonna need a part made of hard-ish paper that I’m supposed to fold to gave it a proper shape and fit it through the thin holes in the structure meant for it.
In my humble opinion, while the Rolife and ROKR instructions are generally pretty clear and easy to follow, the folding process for this paper part was a bit confusing:
So I just decided to use my logic by looking at the picture of the finished build and managed to assemble it that way instead ![]()

The result was pretty nice! Not as smooth as I would liked it I belive, but nice enough for the eye, so no complaints.
And this is it for today!
I may try to finish it tomorrow, otherwise I’ll need to wait until the end of Easter to give it the last go since I’ll be pretty busy during the main Easter days
which in Spain are Thursday to Sunday (or Friday to Monday, depending on where you live).
Funny country, Spain. We have less and less Christian believers for some time now, but our main holidays are still Christian celebrations. Our Easter celebrations are called Holly Week because it’s the memory and celebration of the Passion (Thursday), Death (Friday) and Resurrection (Sunday) of Jesus Christ. Most people in the country don’t really care about all that religious mumbo jumbo as they’d call it, but they won’t complain about those four (our three, depending on the region) free holidays ![]()

Anyway. See you/read you around!
