Day 2: The door, the bike and the windows

Day 3: Drinks and walls

Day 4: Walls, Assemble! And some ceiling issues

Day 5: Lights on!

Day 6: Flowers, flowers everywhere

Well, well, well! The journey is almost done, folks. Cheers is near the grand opening and soon y’all be able to come and enjoy a beer, or a pint, or a mojito, or a gin, or a cake, or whatever your heart desires!

And why? Well, because after the paper-made flowers of the devil, the furniture is finally here! Today was a day of tape, double-sided tape everywhere. Let’s go!

So what do we need for all of that to be ready? First, we need to get some drinks ready with the following:

Random fact: All this time since the unboxing I’ve been thinking that long strong green cord with the black tape on the end was so kind of wire… But no, it’s just some kind of hard rigid-ish rope

And where will that go? Well, in many places I guess. But, for now, a small cut of it will be the hang of our very own ice bucket to go with the coctails and bottels we’ve just prepared:

Good? Good. I’m thisty already! And hungry as well. So let’s bring our furniture closer. Yeah, yeah! I mean those two pieces I’ve crafter the very first day I sat to build this wonder.

Now, let’s prepare the table. If you wanna eat you need a table for it, right? I mean, you don’t actually need it, but it’ll be much more comfortable that way, that’s for sure. So finally the flowers of the devil have some use! Well, some of them. We’re ready for two of you, folks! Who’s joining?

This is the kind of preparation in which I honestly prefer tape over glue. Yeah, you can kind of see the unused section of tape if you focus, but glue can be messy, specially with so many transparent things.

Okay, food is ready. Let’s bring the drinks! People is thirsty, I know. So let’s put the bar together.

Looking amazing already! And we have the menu ready for your order. I hope that beer doesn’t get warm! Nobody wants a warm beer. Yikes.

Last but not least, the box! For some reason, we’ve decided to decorate a random section of our bar & dining with a box. It comes with a bottle of wine, a barrel of something, a painting and a rose. Maybe we’ll give it in a ruffle or something? We’ll see! It’s all about the grand opening after all.

And this is it for today! I’m pretty satisfyed with the results, folks. There are still some things just hanging around (chairs, flowers, pots, barrels, bottles…), but everything will come together soon. Because… Well! I believe the next update will be the next. The grand opening is happening tomorrow, probably and most likely!

(I know, I know, as soon as I uploaded the picture I realized I’ve forgotten about the sticker that goes on the front of the box  no worries, that’ll come along with the next and last post about this kit).

So… Beware. Cheers Bar & Dining is coming to town soon enough!

See you/read you around!

So cute, the little mint leaf inside of the drink.

I know right?

I don’t think it’s a tea though
