Day 2: The door, the bike and the windows

Day 3: Drinks and walls

Day 4: Walls, Assemble! And some ceiling issues

Hello there! So… I’m getting progressively more excited as I see this kit coming together and I’m using the thing’s I’ve previously crafter to create something bigger.

So… Let’s see. This is what I’ve built so far:

And this is everything I’m using today according to the instructions manual (daaaamn, a lot of things! This time really felt like a Wooden Puzzle situation, so I’ve felt at home  )

So the furniture must wait a few more days! Sad furniture. Back to the cabinet.

Anyway! It’s about time we put together the whole main structure, or most of it, right? I’ve already taken the first step there, so it’s time to finish some details on the remaining parts of the structure. To finish this specific part of the “side wall” was a bit tricky, since I had to add some stuff to it without being able to drop it on the table, due to the nature of the parts and the assembly. But it came out pretty nicely, all things considered!

After this, it was finally time to add this wall and the ceiling I’ve put together yesterday to the main structure. It took some effort putting the wires through small holes and fitting al the parts in their respective holes, but… Voilà! This is getting greater and I’m so excited already

No time to stop, Eloy, no time to stop! I was on an emotional rollercoaster at this point since I was supper excited it was taking an appropiate shape. So the next step, a truly important one, was… The door! How else were the customers gonna come to Cheers and enjoy a beer? C’mon! You know doors are important. And this one can be opened and closed properly, so no excuses. You’re invited for the next meal!

Well, that’s for when we have the tables and bar set. That’s the thing. Be patient!

After that, some details as floor covers for the borders and ceilings, so the whole thing wood look smoother. Amazing!

Last but not least… Electricity! This dining room is supposed to work at night as well, no? So It was time to add the battery box. Yeah, the wires are hanging like that, they’re longer than expected and they don’t fit in the box hiding the box (?), so I’ll probably stick them to the wall. Time to go shopping for some materials!

And that’s it, folks! Switch from OFF to ON, and…

Oh, what. Hold on… The lights didn’t turn on. Oh, dear. I don’t know why, but something happens with every kit regarding this point

Buuut… No worries, no panic. My mistake! I’ve put one of the two batteries the wrong way, duh. Phew.

Aaaand… ON!

I LOVE how it looks with the lights on under the dark! It’s so cozy, so chill. Can’t wait to take this photo again once my dining room is filled with furniture, drinks, food, maybe a couple of clients? We’ll see.

I’m excited to keep going!

Oh, well, I’m not THAT excited about the next step. You know what, @Nita_Davis? Plant-crafting is coming :scream:

I usually tuck the excess wire in the box with battery. If you feel ok, you can cut off excess yellow and white since you know the length needed.
Ok and here is something I learned at the ripe old age of 67. That bike… it is referred to as a penny farthing! I never knew that and thought penny farthing was some kind of European money! LOL

Oh, that’s a nice idea actually, haven’t thought of that! I may just do so then, yeah. Good call, thanks!

And… LOL, the Penny Farthing. I won’t ever see that bike the same way again hahaha

A penny and a farthing were both coins prior to decimal currency. The penny was larger than a farthing, hence the name of the bike penny farthing.
