Thats wgy I switched from the little sandpaper drum to the metal burr. The bur has a lot smoother grit and takes things off at a much slower rate. Plus on the one I have, you can also lower the speed if you need to slow it down further.

Wow i never knew these tools before. I am just used to using the sand paper that comes with the kit and save them for later use as well
