I’ve been building the pagoda today, we’ve made up hahaha.

Well, the thing is, every time I use kits that require a lot of sanding, my fingers end up bright red and my skin peels.
And between each round of sanding pieces, I apply cream to my fingertips.
This is my method for relieving pain and getting my fingers raw while sanding.
But do you have any better tips or advice?
It would be greatly appreciated.
I am not sure what to advice as I am not sanding much. But using a hand cream is always my go to, even not crafting. I love my hands feels soft.
I use thimble tape when I build. Helps with the pieces that super hard to fit together and if I’m using hot glue as well. Cheap and effective!

I always add moisturizer a few times during my builds if i need to use sandpaper. Sometimes putting cotton on your finger tips also work

Thanks! I was hurting my fingers so much on my builds that I needed to figure something out. Read online that crafters use this for a lot of hot glue. I wound up using it for cushions on my fingers as well. It’s good stuff!

I like that idea a lot.
I haven’t had any issues with my fingers when sanding because I mainly use emery boards. But I always use hand cream anyway.
