Despite the snowstorm outside, our crafting friends still came together with so much enthusiasm. On December 2, the Public Library at North Webster, Indiana welcomed a warm and enthusiastic gathering for our Robotime DIY and Crafting Club Meetup 01.
Hosted by our Indiana Robotime Brand Ambassador @Tkaplan , the meetup brought together a lovely group of crafters who filled the quiet winter afternoon with creativity, companionship, and gentle laughter.
Tina had planned the meetup carefully.
She chose the library as the venue, prepared extra supplies, printed posters, and arranged a welcoming display table with some of her finished creations. ![]()

The library team also supported the event by promoting it in their newsletter, on their website, and in the local newspaper. ![]()

Our participants settled in with their mats and manuals, each choosing a kit that reflected their holiday mood. ![]()
Some took on mini fireplaces, others worked on festive decorations, and all were deeply immersed in the joy of making something with care. ![]()

Hands-on crafting and shared warmth
Once the kits were handed out, the tables quickly turned into a peaceful crafting space. Christmas themed kits, warm drinks, snacks, and soft conversations created a soothing atmosphere ![]()

Some participants guided others through tiny details, while others shared tips from their own experience. The pace was slow and relaxing, giving everyone time to enjoy the process and feel supported by the people around them ![]()

Focused minds and peaceful hearts
Each crafter leaned into their project with calm focus, occasionally looking up to admire a neighbor’s progress or share a few kind words of encouragement
. Even those who came alone soon found themselves chatting comfortably and discovering small joys together
.
It was more than a crafting afternoon. It was a quiet moment of connection, confidence, and the simple happiness that comes from creating side by side
.
A photo to celebrate the day
As the session came to an end, many kits were already taking shape. Everyone gathered for a cheerful group photo, capturing the warmth and connection that filled this snowy afternoon. ![]()

When the meetup was over, the conversation continued back on our community site. Participants shared their photos, progress, and little stories from the day, extending the joy of the gathering into our online home. ![]()

This meetup brought a touch of color to the winter weather and reminded us how uplifting it is to create together and then relive those moments as a community. ![]()

A story of creativity, healing, and the quiet magic of miniatures
Tina lives in a peaceful small town in Indiana, USA, where life moves gently and the winters can be long and quiet. Now retired and surrounded by a loving family, she enjoys the kind of slow, heartfelt hobbies that bring warmth into everyday life. What we did not know at first was that she would one day become one of the most inspiring voices in our community.
Her journey with Rolife began in the simplest and most unexpected way. Earlier this year, her husband encouraged her to choose something she liked as a birthday gift. Tina walked into a craft store thinking she would pick up supplies for her stained glass hobby. Instead, she turned down an aisle she had never really looked at before.
There, the miniature kits caught her eye. One kit in particular seemed to jump out at her.
She picked Cathy’s Flower House as her first project. She had no idea how challenging it was. She simply followed her heart.
That day changed everything.
As she built the tiny greenhouse piece by piece, something inside her opened up. The colors, the warmth, the peacefulness of the imagined sunshine inside the miniature room, all of it brought back a sense of joy she had nearly forgotten. It felt magical. It felt healing. And it became the beginning of a collection that has now grown to more than forty builds.
But behind Tina’s love for miniatures is a deeper story, one that shaped her into who she is today.
Tina did not have an easy childhood. But through all those years, one person never changed. Her Grandma Betty.
Her grandmother became her guide, her safe harbor, her quiet source of strength. She listened, supported, and loved in a way that left an imprint on Tina’s heart forever.
When Tina built Elsa’s Tailoring Shop, she created it as a tribute to her grandmother. She crafted it using real pieces from her grandma’s sewing supplies, even placing a picture of her grandparents on the wall inside the miniature shop. The tiny thimble on the floor belonged to her grandma as well.
This build became a place where love, memory, and craft came together.
A keepsake that carries warmth across generations.
Tina says that no matter how difficult a kit becomes, she keeps going because the sense of accomplishment at the end is truly special. And in that simple but powerful belief, we saw the essence of what our brand stands for.
Patience.
Creativity.
Healing.
Family.
Connection.
This is why Tina became a Robotime Brand Ambassador.
Not because she applied for a title,
but because she naturally grew into someone who represents the heart of our community.
