Meetup Events 02 - Canada & the Philippines
Cherishing Every Moment of Crafting
While the very first meetups were just beginning to take shape in one part of the world, something equally special was happening across oceans.

From a cozy creative space in
Canada to a lively gathering in
the Philippines, Robotime community members came together, each in their own way, yet connected by the same love for crafting.
They arrived one by one, carrying boxes of miniature parts, taking their seats, opening packages, and exchanging small smiles. As time passed, hands moved steadily, heads leaned closer to the table, and conversations began to flow naturally alongside the builds taking shape.

1. Laughter and Little Victories in Thunder Bay
In
Thunder Bay,
@Emma_Samchek’s day began with an unexpected moment. Just before the meetup, an energy drink spilled and splashed, turning into a small burst of chaos before everything even started.

Not long after, participants began to arrive, greeting one another, settling into their seats, and reaching for their kits. The initial quietness soon gave way to conversation as introductions turned into easy exchanges.
As the afternoon unfolded, people shifted their chairs closer, pointed at instructions, and helped one another through tricky steps. Small conversations grew into shared laughter.

One memorable moment came when a participant accidentally
glued her fingers together. After a brief pause, the situation turned into laughter, with everyone gathering around as the problem was gently solved.

By the end of the meetup, several builds stood completed on the table, including the
Eiffel Tower,
Blossom Cart, and bright
Sunflower Frames.

More than the finished pieces, it was the quiet smiles, the lifted heads, and the sense of pride that stayed with everyone.
As the group gathered and called out
“Robotime!” together, voices rose in unison, capturing a moment that no one would forget.

2. A Bustling Café in Makati
Meanwhile, in
Makati City, the scene unfolded in a completely different rhythm.

At
Moshi Gran Cafe in One Ayala,
@Jill_Francisco welcomed a lively group of participants. People walked in, greeted one another, pulled out chairs, and quickly settled into a vibrant afternoon of crafting.
With
20 participants, the space felt active and full of energy. Some leaned over their kits with focus, while others paused to chat, compare progress, or share a quick laugh.

Between
bites of food and sips of coffee, hands continued to move, assembling tiny pieces into detailed scenes.

A few challenges appeared along the way when a few parts broke, but thankfully nothing that a little super glue couldn’t fix. Thanks to the quick thinking and helping hands from nearby participants, everyone enjoyed the crafting journey with a great amount of joy.

As the afternoon drew on, completed builds began to appear across the tables, including the
Evergreen Pine Bonsai,
Ocean Fisher Gravity Swing, and
Starry Night Wall Art.

Others carefully packed their kits, already planning to continue once they got home.
As people began to leave, they lingered for a moment, exchanging a few last words, already looking forward to meeting again.
Meet the Brand Ambassadors Behind the Scenes
·Emma
For
@Emma_Samchek , creativity has always been more than a hobby. It’s how she loves. How she heals. How she connects.
Her journey with Robotime didn’t start with an event, but with moments of building late into the evening, finding calm in careful details, learning patience piece by piece.

During difficult chapters of her life, making things with her hands gave her focus, comfort, and a sense of grounding.
Love played a part, too.

Emma often speaks about her boyfriend Kalvin, her partner of two years, as someone who brought light back into her world. From caring for her when she’s sick, to chasing her through a store with a pirate sword, to buying her kits she doesn’t yet have, he’s been her steady warmth. One of her most meaningful builds is
Kalvin’s first Robotime kit, the moment he joined her at the table and discovered the joy for himself.

That shared love for building quietly expanded into something greater.
For Emma, creativity has never been only about what is built. It lives in the way moments are shared, in the care behind each small action, and in the quiet connections that
stay long after the table is cleared.

And somewhere between those small pieces and passing conversations, something lasting begins to take shape.
·Jill
For
@Jill_Francisco, creativity lives in
the in-between moments. In the pauses after school drop-offs, in the quiet after a busy day, in the small pockets of time she gently sets aside for herself.

As a full-time mom of two, her days move around
the rhythms of family life . Mornings are filled with routines, afternoons with responsibilities, and evenings with the soft kind of tiredness that comes from caring for others. Somewhere within all of that, she found her way to crafting.

It began simply, with
curiosity. A delicate Japanese alleyway book nook caught her eye, intricate and full of tiny details.
Later, she discovered Rolife kits. They felt lighter in her hands, easier to step into after a long day. What started as a small activity gradually became
a quiet ritual. A moment to breathe. A moment to slow everything down, even if just for a little while.

Over time, Jill began sharing these moments with the community. Not just finished builds, but
glimpses of life woven around them. The Sakura-themed Nanci, the playful spirit of Halloween, the wonder of theme parks, the softness of childhood memories, the gratitude that lingers during Thanksgiving. Each post carried more than an image. It
carried a feeling.

In many ways, becoming a Robotime Ambassador was never a single decision. It was a natural continuation of who she already is. Thoughtful, warm, and present.
