What a delightful start to The Seahorse Barque build, even if it was just for 30 minutes! Your comparison to the London Marble Run already sets the stage for a careful, steady journey ahead. Enjoy the ballet and let your creativity sail smoothly when you return to it.
Thank you! I will be taking this one slow indeed. Wouldn’t want to break to much ![]()
Oh well! The first time I sit to build mine I also did “just” that, the little ship and the base for the main one. What you build is never too much or too little, there’s no rush in this hobby and passion of ours, do never forget that!
I do hope you’ve enjoyed the ballet show ![]()
Oh, and in addition to Nita’s, I’m also sharing with you my topic filled with tips for this one, maybe some of them can be of help and prevent further issues!
I will definitely look back to your post about this one. And to Nita’s too of course.
And I don’t think I did too little.
I just thought on Monday that I could work at it the entire Wednesday evening and on Tuesday I got the reminder about the ticket for the show. So I just was disappointed for a little moment that my plans got changed
.
But I made the most of the little time I had and I truly enjoyed the ballet recital. ![]()
I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it!
I have to confess, I was a bit embarrassed after reading your topic since 30 to 60 min is kind of the time I spend building every day I do so
I go to work, I come home, clean, cook, eat, bla bla bla, and that little time between dinner and bed is usually when I build. I don’t like to rush anything… And that’s also why it took me almost two months to finish the Dream Gift Factory ![]()
That makes sense. When I come home from work, I want to relax as much as possible. So besides cooking and eating I don’t do anything. That is why I can spend a few hours building during the week.
Cleaning I do mostly in the weekend. Since I can finish it than in an hour or 2 and still enjoy the rest of my weekend.
I do the cleaning during the weekends too
I already have too many things to do in the weekdays. That’s also why I don’t usually build on the weekends lol.
Take your time and enjoy the process.
Be careful the ship migth sink…. If you break too many pieces. ![]()
Small progress is still an achievement.
I hope you had fun watching the ballet show. ![]()
Haha true, we would’ve want that to happen ![]()
It is, and I’m glad with every little progress I make.
The ballet show was magnificent. I never saw one before, but I’m glad I got a ticket and went seeing it.
I never saw a ballet performance until now. I hope I can watch a beautiful performance someday.
I’m looking forward to your next update soon. ![]()
This build intrigues me more each time I see it. Have fun!
