[Relaxing Moment] The Seahorse Barque - day 1

My plan today was to get a start on The Seahorse Barque, and well… I did.

But unfortunately I could only find 30 minutes to start building. I totally forgot I was going to see a ballet show tonight

It’s not something I have done before but I was interested and got an earlybird ticket (only to forget about it again).

Since I have the ticket, I will get into my car now and to the show.

So the little progress I made will have to do for now

From the feeling I got of these pieces, I was already aware that this will be much more fragile than the London Marble Run I just finished.

oh well, like they say, slow and steady wins the race. So I will continue in the next days

Haha yep, finally!

I did not break anything yet, but I already felt I shouldn’t use too much pressure because it was really fragile.

This one does take some patience. I have a post on here about a couple of hints that I found to be helpful. I hope that it will save you a bit of frustration while building. Enjoy your movie. 👍 [ Beginner Tips] Seahorse barque

Thank you! I will definitely take a look at your post about it. And I will enjoy tonight, it’s a wonderful ballet recital of Cinderella :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Haha yes I did. Every small part counts . I had a great evening and am going to bed now so I can be somewhat well rested tomorrow :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

It’s okay. I think we should just do things at our own pace. There’s no need to rush.

love the details of this kit. Enjoy building. You’re doing great so far.

You’re right. I don’t want to rush it either. But I thought I was going to build the entire evening and just forgot I had something else planned.

Luckily I got a reminder on Tuesday .

However the little free time I had at home last night, I really wanted to start.

Thank you, I will take my time with it. So it might be a slower progress than usual. Everything just feels so fragile I’m afraid I will break a lot when I rush it.

I’ve always just been unable to resist making models. I even almost missed work once!

Hahaha, that’s why I don’t start building in the morning. I only arrive just in time at work most of the days, if I would build in the morning, I would definitely be late every day
