The Meetup Kits Journey:
Three days left for the Meetup! OMG!

OKAY OKAY. So let’s not loose time and let’s get into business! The countdown is almost over.
SO! I’ve divided the last Meetup kit into three days.
Day 1: The Two Flowers
Day 2: The Power of Three (Flowers)

Day 3: Flower Basket: Assemble!

I know, I’m too much into references sometimes. But I just can’t help it.
Okay! Two flowers done last time…
Three to go!
So I’m starting with the only one I haven’t tried yet, the Pink Lily. And… Of course, we’re going into business with the folding petal parts. Oh, maaaan.

Just like that, no warm-up. Straight working with those, no stems first or anything!
Well, those turned out less fragile than the red rose ones for instance. So we’re good! The “fold it a bit and add it to the filament” process was easy and even relaxing. Niiice.
But…
Why is there always a but when things get easier?

Okay, so the thing is I have to stick some yellow stickers on both sides of the… How do you call those, the anthers? I forgot my Highschool biology classes, sorry not sorry. Thing is! You have to be 100% accurate to stick them or it won’t look smooth. The sticker will be noticed. Why do you always need to 100% properly align those stickers? It’s not fair.

But hey, I made it close enough.
After that the process gets easier!
(Shhh, don’t jinx it.)
Alright, it’s easy… Ish. All we have to do is fit those six petal combos to this:
Seems easy enough, am I right?
I know! It it easy… ish. The only problem here, as I’ve found in many of the Rowood flower kits, is the fact that you’re never too sure from where to hold everything while you apply pressure over something to properly fit it, and not breaking anything in the process. Sometimes it’s harder than it should to decide it, and you’re always thinking you’ll end up breaking something! It’s not fair.

Either way, everything worked out and nothing got broken this time. Yay!
The Pink Lily looks, indeed, beautiful. Maybe it’s my favourite so far?
After that I just had to build a smoller not-yet-bloomed one, which was fairly easier:
And that’s all about the Pink Lily! Just following the main manual guidelines for the stems so I’m prepared beforehand ![]()
What’s left..?
Oh, yeah! The Eucalyptus kit and the Camomile.
And you know what? I’m not gonna build the Camomile. Just like that. Hah! You didn’t see that coming, didn’t you?

Well, it’s not that I’m on a strike or anything ![]()

Not that kind of strike lol. I’m not that good at bowling also.
Thing is… I’ve already built this kit as a self-Saint Valentine thing! So I’m thinking I’ll just reuse that one. Easy peasy!
So… The last thing will be the eucalyptus!
I’ve also had to build this one for the Blooming Book. It’s a tricky one, with wooden sheets and parts not that easy to handle and easily breakable.

First we need to build the small ribbon though! It’s exactly the same as the one for the Blooming Book, but this one comes with a different (and better in my humble opinion) colour.
Same happens with the sign!
Since I’ve already went through this small hell of a build during the Blooming Book progress I won’t bore you with it again. This time felt easier though! And after following again the main manual stem-replacement instructions, here we are:
And this is it for today! Maybe I’ve rushed it a bit but it’s a busy week folks, sorry about that. Kindly forgive this humble front desk manager.

I’ll come tomorrow with the third and last (hopefully) update on this one. Take care until then!

See you/read you around!
