Well! Today I was supposed to keep going a bit with my Cheers Bar & Dining Miniature House, but… What can I say? It’s February 14th! Flowers, flowers everywhere. But while I don’t like the mini plant-crafting from other kits, I was curious about trying one of those Rowood wooden bloom crafts. The Chamomiles one was related to love, and it was cheap, so… Since for I guess obvious reasons anything looking like a rose or having red/pink-like colors was sold out, so I just bought this one and decided to made it before the end of the day. After all, while I’m loving the Miniature House, I still miss my beloved wooden puzzles ![]()
Either way, I knew this was gonna be a quick build just by looking at what was inside the little box:
I just didn’t realize how much. What did that took me? An hour or so? ![]()
The main and longest part of the build is the beginning, which basically consists on putting stems and stems together to create the main structure or, if you want, the green bunch:
It was fun! Although, just one thing if you ever plan on building this for your table/window/whatever decoration: be careful where you hold it while pressuring the parts to fit them in the structure! After all, this is a set of long thin parts, so if you pressure too much against one of the stems in order to add another one, you may end up breaking something ![]()
I did slightly break one, actually
but it was just a small part, nothing that a small drop of glue couldn’t fix. Phew!
So, after a little while and with some patience and being careful where to press (and where to stick the cute little bees
), this is how the main thing looks like:
Let me be honest with you, I even made the mistake of trying to smell them! I would’ve been pretty surprised if they happened to smell of something other than wood, right? ![]()
Well, this was almost done! The next and last step was to basically build, then decorate, the flowerpot. The main structure, or the skeleton for it, is basically straightforward:
And then, the cute branded cover:
A few decorations, a couple of leafs and details here and there, and… Voilà!
There were some things you could choose to fit on front, so I decided to combine (glue) the post and the bee together for a slightly different touch!
Looks cute, doesn’t it? Now this home has some nice lovely flowers decorating a table without the need of water them, nor them being plastic ![]()
I hope you guys enjoy, or are enjoying, your Saint Valentine day! I am ![]()
See you/read you around!
