The cable I received was faulty (No Rolife)

Today I started a new kit, not from Rolife.

And unfortunately, I’ve been quite alarmed by the sight of a wire sticking out of the white plug.

My question is, should I plug it back in?

Or order a replacement?

It’s for making Cutebee bread, and it has a lot of wiring. I’m afraid to build everything and then have it not work.

I don’t know what to do, it’s the first time I’ve seen a cable that’s connected incorrectly.

Gracias! respondo en español, voy a contactar porque casi se me sale un ojo del infarto jajaja. y poner esto en inglés quedara raro XD

Definitely just ask for replacement. Fixing this is troublesome as you need to remove the plastic tab’s cover and solder the black wire to the metal terminal then slide it the terminal back.

Oh no! I guess I’ll have to wait another 10 days or more for a replacement. :sob:

I didn’t know it was so complicated.

Thanks for your help.

10 days does not sound long! Except when you are the one waiting! Can you gently set that kit to the side and do you have another? Hopefully…

I have two in moving boxes because we’re looking for a new home, but I don’t know which box I put them in.:smiling_face_with_tear:

I hope they will send you a replacement.

I admit, my addiction can be strong! I would be opening boxes LOL. My husband would be tackling me and driving me to get help!

I would suggest to ask for a replacement. It is much safer.

If it was me I would just order a replacement. To me it just look tedious to fix. But It’s fantastic that your partner be able to fix that.

Did you already tried connecting the wires on the battery? Try to check first if the wires are working.
