Space Shuttle Test Not Working

I am having the same issues others had. When doing the test, the lights go on, the arm moves back and the bottom track moves out, but the track won’t go back. I tried the tip from customer service about moving the angle of the metal on the T3, but no luck. Even moving the angle doesn’t allow it to touch the wood under it. I am afraid to break it since I have moved it so much already. The C14 piece did not work as well. Does anyone have any other ideas? I appreciate any help you can offer.

Welcome to community. I hope everybody can help you

I’m sorry that you are having problems. Did you send and wax very thoroughly on the tracks that the shuttle moves on? A

You can try moving the F10 wooden piece upward.

How did you go? Have you got it working yet?

I sanded lightly but waxed thoroughly.

Oh, that is it!! The F10 piece slipped. I put it back in place and it works great. I can’t thank you enough. I am on my third build and it is so much fun. I love my new hobby.

So happy that you were able to find the problem. Sanding is very important as it removes the wood burrs. Waxing can’t do that. Both steps are neccessary.

Glad you were able to make it! I hope the rest of the build goes smoothly. This hobby is very addictive, haha. Have fun!
