I am on that dreaded step where you have to test everything to make sure all is good in the hood. Originally, when I pressed the start switch the claw thing would move and that was it. I found that the switch at the top was not being triggered all the way so nothing would move BUT even with that figured out (not fixed) the arm does not extend and gets to a mid point where it stops then goes back in a bit and stops again. I’ve tried adding the C14 part but that doesn’t help as it doesn’t even get to the part where the switch needs to be pressed.
I did not have that problem but I do recall seeing in an answer somewhere else that moving one small part a couple of mm’s made everything work properly. You may want to look thru Space Shuttle problems using the search bar. There are many
When I built my space shuttle, the switch controlling the arm was not being pressed fully too. I fixed this problem using some previous scrap wood from the set to add onto so the switch would be pressed fully. I hope you resolve your issue.
