Welcome to the community! Sorry you’re facing a problem with your build. @CustomerService should be able to help you when they’re back.

Otherwise I believe both @Nita_Davis and @Jerry_Boswijk have built this in the past.

Welcome to the community. It looks like a hard build. I hope you can resolve the issue. I don’t build this kit yet. I’m sorry I can’t help you. :smiling_face_with_tear: Maybe someone here might lend you a help.

Have you tried installing the part number c14, I think it is that one but I’m not home to look at my instructions. It is on the troubleshooting section of the test page. It also appears that you may need a bit more sanding and waxing on your rails. Welcome to the group and I hope you can get this working because it is a wonderful model

yes I tried to add C14, with same result

Somebody else just posted a similar issue and found his problem. Please check the most recent posts. or type “space shuttle problems” into the search bar. There have been many of this type.

Sorry to hear that you encounter issue with this. I hope you will be able to find solution for it soon.

Welcome to the community, @hioub42! I haven’t built this kit myself, so I can’t personally help with it, but I hope the advice you’ve been given helps you solve the issue. If you’re still stuck, don’t hesitate to ask again!

Welcome to the community @hioub42 :hugs: i didn’t made this one before, hopefully you can find the problem. Let us know if you where able to fix the problem

Hello! The T3 switch needs to be fully pressed when the landing gear is completely deployed, at which point the landing gear motor stops running. Based on the current situation, the issue lies here. You can try two solutions: ① Move F10 slightly upward. ② Bend the copper sheet of the T3 switch a little. The goal is to make it easier for the T3 switch to be pressed.

Even if I push the switch manualy, the behaviour is the same

the arm try to deploy more, then go back 1 seconde

Welcome to community. I hope you can resolve the issue. I don’t build this kit yet so @CustomerService can help you

I hope that you can find the issue with your problem and have listened to the advice from Robotime. I have seen so many complete this model successfully, but I have seen just as many struggle as you are. Every kit is made exactly the same and most malfunctions are due to human error. I hope that you have every part in its proper position because every detail matters. I am wishing the best for you in your journey.

Welcome to community :raised_hand:t2: i didn’t do that, but i know somebody had done it before, i hope it gets resolved as soon as possible.

Hello! You need to completely power off the device and complete all the preparation work before retesting. If you continue testing without doing so, the issue you mentioned will persist.

hello

i tried powering off few days : same behaviour

what do you mean by “complete all the preparation work” ?

The 2 arms are now deployed, and it seems I cannot fold them manually

I did all the steps throught page 26 of the assembly instruction whithout encountering any problem

the T3 switch is working well (tested electricaly)

The current issue is that T2 and T3 are not pressed down properly, which prevents the mechanism from completing a full cycle. You need to make sure that the T2 and T3 switches can be pressed down even when they’re in their starting position so that a full cycle can be completed.
