📖 [Rowood Journey] I Built a Pot… Twice. Thanks, Anime

Yesterday I finally moved on to the pot of my poinsettia after finishing the three flowers, which I painted and assembled with so much excitement! This little pot is adorable and incredibly easy to put together. I actually checked carefully this time, and it doesn’t seem to need any painting at all since all the corners stay hidden. Honestly, I love that!

It took me forever to finish, though, because I’m absolutely exhausted. I was building while watching an anime and… well, let’s just say I had to redo a couple of pieces because I put them in backwards while being too focused on the anime. There came a point where I was so tired that even understanding the instructions felt like advanced calculus… On top of that, I was so tired that when I remembered to take more photos of the pot from the inside, I had already assembled it properly… and I wasn’t about to take it apart again

Let’s see if tonight or tomorrow I can finish the whole build. I feel like I’m sooooooooooo close to the end now! :face_holding_back_tears:

By the way, I’m totally hooked on Who Made Me a Princess. This kind of series/manga/stories is completely my vibe. Anyone else joining the club? hehe

I’d probably be in to that kind of anime! I haven’t watched in awhile, the last anime I saw was the new Demon Slayer movie in theater! They actually had it showing in Japanese and everything where I live! It was pretty awesome! Your poinsettia is looking good!

That’s a lovely pot and that’s great that you didn’t have to paint it.

I also watch Anime but I can’t while building. I enjoy watching them in Japanese so I need to read the subtitles. So that would be hard to do while reading through instructions

I hope I have time today, but it’s looking complicated. I left school and just stopped now for a snack, but I’m going to spend the whole afternoon running errands. I won’t get home until at least 8 p.m. So I think there won’t be any poinsettia today… just my bed instead :joy:

They’ve released it in Japanese at the cinema here too! As for me, I’m totally weak for manhwas (as this one is Korean) with princess stories. I’m addicted to romantic comedies in general🙈 And thank you!

I watch them in Japanese too. As @Atropex says, Japanese is the only way!!! :joy::joy:
So with the subtitles on, just imagine how I was trying to build the pot at the same time :see_no_evil_monkey:

I just recently watched a scary anime about a town being taken over by spirals and some people turned into snails.

I about died when I realized my fingerprints have spirals. It’s a whole thing.

I think the last episode was about the Hurricane Stones. It was really fascinating. I liked it.

I checked this one out after a friend recommended it. I didn’t read the whole thing but I think I got the gist of the story from skimming through  didn’t know it had an anime

I had no idea that the inside of this pot was so complicated. Nice job

The thing is that it isn’t :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Ohhh you watched Uzumaki!
I haven’t seen it because I would absolutely freak out and then not sleep for years :joy::joy:
But I know enough to understand why the spirals and the snails nearly made you die inside! It’s super creepy!

Haha yes, it has an anime adaptation now! I haven’t even read the manhwa yet, so imagine me trying to build a flower pot while watching the anime at the most interesting part. No wonder I assembled everything twice. :joy:
