This is after about 10 hours of painting. I had to mix up four colors for the Greenery and one was Arbor Green that I already had. I also mixed up a color for the gingerbread man. I still have to do details in gold on the bow and finish up my gingerbread and candy canes. I didn’t like the presents either and I decided to add some blue to the wreath. so I painted them as well. I am calling it an early night. No more modeling today.

Than you so much @JDisaduck . I just wanted to add a bit more color…and I knew I couldn’t do that one print so I flipped the box over and just painted with a sponge.

Nice painting work! The small paint pots are very handy. I was looking for something to put the mixed paint in and this is a good idea. Thanks for sharing. I’ll see if I can buy it somewhere.

A sponge is a good idea I should get one. Do you just use a normal kitchen sponge?
Yes, I do. I just cut off a tiny piece…and lightly dab it in the the paint then dab the excess off on a paper towel so it doesn’t just make a huge glob @JDisaduck

I’ll remember this for when I start painting my next project! 
@JDisaduck …one other tip…don’t use a hard dried out sponge. Wet it good first, then squeeze out in a dish towel. You want it to be soft.
