Yes, I know. I have special knife to do it
Okay…so you are breaking flexible pieces while trying to push them? @ThaoNguyen
I broke them while trying to attach them. Some pieces were too thin.
Good to hear the tip helped.
Thanks @Jerry_Boswijk
This was not my favorite and I know they are beautiful but I personally only enjoyed once I was through.
Sorry to hear that. I try to ‘stretch’ them as I am putting them on.
I do the same and so etimes I may get a little crack. I noticed with each of these they were not the issue and went on fairly well. My issues were mostly when I had to push onto a peg. Often it was a stem cracking
They seem so easy at first lol but my thumbs!!! so delicate and very particular placements!
Exactly. I like the finished product but do not much care for the process
Sometimes you get a build that is totally different from what you expect.
I had done the box bouquet and that was hard but good. Its like this wood was more brittle. Maybe due to cold and dryness here?
Can be. Maybe a kit that has been laying around for a while and got dry indeed.
The struggles were worth it; the flowers look beautiful
If a piece is difficult to attach, it sometimes helps to lightly sand the points where the piece needs to be slid on. This way, you don’t have to use as much force to get it in place ![]()
I sanded alot! and even started using a little wax. Many of the breaks were early on. It definitely is, as others call it, fiddling!
