📖 [Rolife Journey] Progress #8 - 1950's Diner

I only got to work a little while this morning before I needed to go host my DIY & Crafting Club Meetup. I finished up the disco balls…too bad John Travolta couldn’t dance and sing under them! Hahaha
I also hung the guitar from the ceiling along with the strobe lights. Then I started painted the edges of the items that go in the right side wall. I think the end is near…but not until after the weekend because we’re on our way to West Virginia for one of our granddaughter’s first birthday!

On to painting the edges of the tiny dart board and darts…and items for the right side wall…

@Kim_Kieffer you’ll really like it! Just don’t zoom in on my disco balls…they’re probably the worst thing I’ve ever made. Whoever thought sticking squares to a round ball was a good idea should have their head examined! :joy:

@Jill_Francisco the instructions were a little unclear on the disco balls. The first strip of nine squares went around the ball great. The rest of the directions said to do it in different increments and it didn’t look good, so I went rogue and placed one little mirror square at a time. One thing that I did do that I think really helped, was I painted all five balls silver metallic so that the gaps looked better. Otherwise gaps were more noticeable when the balls were white.
