The first thing I want to point out is that the name of this kit should have said it’s a barber shop.
This is a cute little build. These types of builds don’t really make it easy to customize much, but as always, I’m taking the time to paint or stain all of the edges. I’ve used several different colors so far. This is a fun quick build to do. Probably finish
So many intricate details! Cheers to you for taking the time, even if it’s for painting the edges. Not a lot of people do that and I’m sure it’ll take a decent amount of time.
I think somewhere in the English language the barber and hair salon was mixed and other non english lanugars use them as one it’s a nice build Tina, not my style at all but happy you enjoyed and nearly finished what next?
It’s going to turn out so nice. I love all of the little “things” in this kit. I agree with you 100%. I have never in my life heard a man saying “I’m off the hair salon now”
I’ve seen this one online a few times and wondered about it. It really is quite detailed isn’t it? Great work so far. I’m interested to see it finished.
@aga2713 I wondered if language might be the reason. It’s not really my style of kit either, but I have a relative named John who is one of my favorite people in the world…so I’m making it for him.
I think I’ll do a 1950’s diner book nook next. Not sure really…I have so many to choose from. Lol
@Suzanne_Jones it has lots of details but it’s all click together. If I wasn’t taking the time to paint edges I would have been able to do it in one day.
