Garage Workshop Completed

This is my newly amped up version of the Rolife Garage Workshop. I made a lot of adjustments on this one. Painting of tools and pegboard, the little closet cabinet, etc. I added real silver handles to my tool cabinets using painted toothpicks. I made tiny pencil and cell phone for the desk. I also made an oil and transmission funnel for the pegboard and added a little wire grinding brush (for use on brake jobs). I made a little broom and bag of kitty litter for cleaning up spills. I used some spare steel shafts and spacers to make my little creeper stool. I figured my red tool box didn’t need to roll around so I stole the wheels from there. I wasn’t about to have any plant covering up my sign so I opted to use that plant holder as a garbage can…LOL! I found no need for the wet floor sign since I’ve never seen anyone mop a garage floor. The ladder, I broke it 3 times and opted to just throw it away. I mean, they have a sign on the back door that says “Do not block” so why stick a silly ladder there anyways? I had made a set of jumper cables but they were a bit bulky so I opted to keep those out as well. Anyways, it was a super fun build…but that wooden cabinet/desk was a bit tricky.

I really love just how great your little extras look. It certainly looks like a real garage.
I had to zoom in on the can on top of the tool chest though because I was sure it was a beer! lol

The amount and mastery of customizations, add ons ans adjustments you’ve made is just crazy! I can’t even imagine the amount of time it took you to earn the skill and mindset to sit in front of this kit and, just like that, take all those choices and make all those little things from scratch using everything at your disposal.

You’re a wonder. And I’m a bit, just a bit, jealous of your mind :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll be back with your Like.

Thanks so much @jeanneL . I think my favorite sign is the mechanic’s hourly rate sign by the back door…LOL! SO funny.

Thank you @Anje_Leonoza_Mira . This was one of the funnest (and actually easiest) kits I’ve done. That ladder, though. UGH! It was beyond repair.

That darn ladder broke on me as well. I was able to repir somewhat but I agree, can do without.

Awwww…Thanks! You are too kind, Eloy. I was sewing and creating and designing bulletin boards for school before the age of ten. I’ve always loved doing stuff like this. My kids had the best Halloween costumes ever…LOL!

I haven’t indulged in this kit, as I’m not a huge “car person” but my goodness, Nita! You might change my mind!

A virtuoso performance yet again. Your attention to the tiny details and thoroughness always make your projects sparkle. :sparkles::star_struck:

I am going back to my Gear Ball Challenge because my missing spring cam so I can move forward with it now. SO much painting to do on it, though.
