Done! I may have a couple of things left but basically done. This was very fun and went together so well.
As most of you I had a guest appearance by none other than Elvis!
As for changes beyond, I painted most of the edges. added some lights to the stairs. And of course I added The King!
I also experimented and rather than use the little silver squares for the disco lights, I dipped in mod podge and then sprinkled different glitters. I liked the silver and gold ones. The red one in the middle did not come out as well. I used a crackley glitter rather than fine. It just clumped. But I left it.
There are a lot of 2D but in all honesty, it looks pretty good. As I was building this, I noticed so very much and the 2D things actually added to the beauty and fun!
@jeanneL theres so.much detail in there ! The boths the food the menu ! Omg its great ! The glitter balls are great to ! Elvis looks right at home ! Xxxx:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
You’re welcome. I got a tiny pair of scissors recently with one of my kits…They are super sharp and much easier to use than my normal sized scissors. I can’t recall which kit they came in but I remember being confused because there were no paper items to cut…LOL!
Just Love it. Good job! I made a spotlight out of a piece of orange sipping straw, and electrical taped a light that came with the kit inside the straw. Then Crazy glued it to the top of the adjacent wall pointing the light on the stage curtain. Came out great
I absolutely love all the detail here!! You really did such an amazing job, you should be proud! I also love the theme and the color palette. Perfect representation!
I absolutely love what you’ve done with your 1950s Presley Diner! I’m not usually a big fan of 2D printed stuff on 3D models, but yours really stand out.
