📖 [Rolife Journey] A Frame Cabin Update #2

Hello –

Good day, everyone! Just a little update on my cabin project—I’ve already started the first part, and I’m really enjoying using the B-7000 glue (thanks to all of you who recommended it!). Whenever I spot a piece that feels loose or easy to come off, I apply the glue right away. (I also grabbed some nano double-sided tape—and wow, it’s so easy to use! I even managed to stick a mini cup onto the books like it was born to live there. Instant interior design upgrade, haha lol)

Now, I do have a question: did I pick the right glue? From what I’ve researched, B-7000 works well with wood, plastic, and rubber. But I’ve also seen some people recommend T-7000. I also bought E-7000, though I’m not sure yet which kit I should use it for.

Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear your tips if you’ve tried these glues before!

Been having a blast making the sticker books and even a mini guitar. Now I’m staring at this tiny cup, wondering what I should put inside so it looks like it’s filled with tea or coffee. Maybe a drop of paint… or a sprinkle of imagination? :joy: Feel free to throw in your suggestions—I’m open to all the quirky ideas!

I use B7000 but I also use another glue that I got online. The other one takes longer to set than the B7000 so I use it for paper or other things.
When I put something in my cup, I painted the inside and then put in resin glue.
I love all the little bits that you’re creating for your A Frame.

Paint will work or indeed a little paint and resin glue

For the cup, I think you can use the UV resin as I see from others here in the community though I don’t have an experience using it yet. I’m also curious to know the differences between those glues and you have a great progress so far.

Looking great so far. I would just add some paint in there. It won’t take long to dry in a space that small.

I’ve never used B700 . I use either white glue (regular) or Quick dry. For me , there is no in between. I want it fixed NOW (or I’m gonna sleep on it). @Suzanne_Jones There are many fascinating bits in the cabin…but I changed a ton of them.

Thank you for that tip, Suzanne. I will try to do that for practice first, then will go ahead and try it in this cup.

Thank you, @Nita_Davis  I will do that

Thanks Jerry. Yes as Suzanne mention. I will try it first in a spare piece that I have to practice haha, I don’t wanna ruin the cabin pieces

I’ve done a past post about using UV resin for the coffee cup. I tend to use different glues depending on what I’m going together. I go back-and-forth between the B7000 and beacons three and one but for anything that has to do with paper I use Aleens quick dry.

Glue is an effective way to hold them together.

I use B7000 for everything including paper! If I have a large paper that needs glue, I use Aleene’s Original Tacky glue for easier coverage.

I never used the B7000 until others mentioned it. I use it sparingly because I don’t like how it feels on my fingers but it is a good glue.
The other glue is one I got from Temu. I like that it stays tacky for a little while because it’s easy to fix mistakes when I’ve glued things incorrectly

I will go back and check it Kim. So I can learn about the UV resin. Thank you!

Same as yours. We can definitely learn from the experts.

I am using it like a pro now. Hahaha everything that I think needs a glue, I glued it.

You’re welcome. Yes, youtube is the key for the tutorial of UV resin.
