Today is Black Saturday here in the Philippines. I woke up early since our family planned a little picnic just 10 minutes away from home, and with some extra time, I squeezed in a quick build. I only used a lamp so I wouldn’t wake my two little babies.
Progress so far: I managed to build two sofas. One of them—the blue striped one—turned out to be made from an eraser! At first, I thought I’d need to do some stitching, but thankfully it was much easier than expected.
The pink (larger) sofa isn’t as cozy as it looks since it’s made of plastic, along with the pillows. Still, it was simple to assemble, especially with my holy grail glue, B7000. It really makes everything stick perfectly.
Thank you! My little girl is already 3, so not much of a baby anymore. I’m doing great and slowly getting back on track after the surgery, just being extra careful.
I was amazed to find that the little couch was an eraser! It just goes to show that you can use anything to create miniatures.
Great progress on your build. And enjoy your family day @Anje_Leonoza_Mira
Isn’t it surprising how that blue and white one is so heavy when you look at it you think oh my gosh this is gonna be nothing and then you get the feel of it. I didn’t even think about the fact that it’s in a racer wow!
I was really surprised to find out it was actually an eraser! The tricky part is that double-sided tape won’t stick to it since it’s rubber, so I ended up using glue instead.
Oh it’s interesting to know that the blue striped sofa is made of eraser. I’m just amazed by that fact. I mean how did they came up on that bright idea.
Ohhhh, the little sofas are so cute, I love that blue one! I agree that the pink one loses a bit of charm since it’s made of plastic and not everything in this kit is. I think it will look nice in the end anyway
