As i have some old style kits arriving very soon and after seeing some tips from others, i bought some extrs tools online.
I got the black clamps you can use to hold pieces.
I got me some b7000 glue and uv resin glue. The last one is supposed to stay liquid and non sticky until you shine uv light on it then it becomes solid in seconds. Plan on using that instead of super glue. And some glue bottle with a nozzle and tip to close them so I don’t need bigger bottles on the table.
And i got some plastic squares i can use to hold 2 walls together when they need to dry so they dont fall over or something like that. Hope it will help me along the way.
And a set of 24 acrylic markers to help paint edges and other stuff.
These tools look very handy. I bought a bottle with a needle tip recently, but when I don’t use it for a while, the tip clogs again, and I have to stick a needle in to get some glue out. It’s nice to be able to apply a very small amount of glue. I already got these acrylic markers for my birthday, and they cover really well.
I already have the needle tip ones without the cap on it and had that problem to. Hoped these wouldn’t have that. What I do is soak the needlenin warm water for a while then store them. That way they don’t clog.
Ahh you read my mind I’m planning to get some markers this week, but from a physical store because I’m impatient! Could you let me know how your markers do maybe I can buy them online next time?
Wow. You’ve ordered cool tools. Thank you for sharing them with us. I might go check out the tools that you’ve ordered since some of them are unfamiliar to me.
Thanks for sharing I used UV Resin instead of super glue normally… the result come out better than glue If you plan to use resin, please make sure it spends enough time under UV light…
Great items for your kit. I too bought those pens after seeing the recommendation as well.
Tbh I don’t like the B7000 glue. It dries tacky on my fingers and being a sensory person I find it yucky. I have found another on Temu that I like a bit better.
Have fun playing with your new tools.
I never used it but read a lot of people use it. I ordered it to see if it any better then the glue i have. If it sucks then not a lotnof money wasted haha.
