I’ll be honest—I’m getting a little tired of rebuilding the Tipsy Restaurant. But since it’s a $$ project, I’ll really try my best to rebuild it into an even better version.
So while I’m resting, I’ll start working on this cabin, which I’ll be opening to the public soon for leisure. Hehe.
Feel free to share your tips if you’ve done this already! Aside from its uniqueness, what should I expect?
Nice kit! I haven’t done it myself but some people here have, even some have customized it (f.e. you can take a look at the majestic Fishing Lodge@Nita_Davis has turned it into). I’m sure you’ll do fine! And some people here have done it so you’re not alone. I’m just not that much into buying miniature houses myself Not that I dislike them, because I don’t. But I prefer wooden puzzles and mechanical builds myself.
It’s alright to take a break! Looks like you have plenty of work with that rebuild of yours. There’s no need to rush it.
rebuilding can be exhausting, but it’s inspiring that you’re determined to make Tipsy Restaurant even better than before. that kind of resilience is what sets projects apart.
it is a great and easy kit to make. is also very good for making your own unique version. i made my own posters and made it more of a mancave type cabine.
How exciting that you’re starting the A-frame cabin! A few things that helped me along the way: glue is your friend on this one — especially for the A-frame structure itself and those white edge pieces, even though it’s marketed as glue-free. It just holds so much better. The wood log-making process feels a bit tedious while you’re in it, but the payoff is genuinely worth it — they look fantastic finished.
The pink couch is thin and fragile, so handle it gently (the edge can break easily). The fridge feels slightly oversized for the space, but it really is the best fit for that spot, so go with it. The hinges on the side opening are a really nice touch — enjoy that moment when you first swing it open!
Take your time with the interior props — there’s a lot of them, but moving things around to suit your style makes it feel more personal. Happy building!
This link shows the net and pole holder I made as well. One last addition for my fishing lodge The pictures were simply screen shots from my phone that I printed out into photos. Thanks for sharing @TheToday .
