This is a non Rolife build . There are so many tiny pieces in this. I made the mistake of customizing this one. lol painting the edges of all these tiny pieces is slow going and I can’t wait to start on the larger pieces! This is going to be really cool when it’s done.

But why do you think it was a mistake to customize something? I don’t think so 
you’re making it your own after all, even if it means taking longer with it.
Oh I remember this kit, and I know it’s from @Jill_Francisco (correct me if I was wrong). So tiny
@TheToday the mistake I was referring to was painting such tiny pieces. lol I don’t think customizing is ever a mistake. I just might be crazy for wanting to do the tiny pieces. I’m painting the edges to match the colors that are on the front of the pieces, so some of the tiny ones have more than one color on the edges. 
Yeah! I’ve been aware for a while now that you usually do that, what I think is a pretty clever thing to do. Kudos to you for that extra effort in order to make things look smoother!
Painting the sides does help to give it a more 3d effect while it is mostly 2d. It looks amazing
