ROKR Marble Spaceport - lift issue

From checking out the forum, I can see that this is a common issue, and updated parts are being sent. Does anyone know of a fix, or if the replacement parts solve the issue?

I personally did not have this issue. There are other parts when I occasionally need to help the balls go further but overall it works smoothly.

I hope you can improve it with the replacement parts.

Hi Sam, I discussed this in my newest posting. Search for it. There are two things you can address, first being the number one lift basket fix I show. The second fix is something I just learned over in the Facebook group. The ramp feeding the balls into the ramp is wide. It allows the balls to zig zag bunch up. All you need to do is add two strips each about 4 mm wide to narrow the ramp. I have added those two strip by simply cutting and using double sided tape on 0.5 mm thick plastic sheet material. Once added the balls line up perfectly to feed the lift. However, you also must address the issue of basket number 1 as well.

Welcome to the community @Sam_Kle . I hope the issue will resolve for you soon.

Welcome to the community @Sam_Kle

I hope the replacement parts will resolve the issue. Please update us when you get to fix it.

Update: received the replacement parts. Initially I wasn’t too impressed as they looked identical to the original, but gave it a go anyway. Taking the internal lift mechanism out and replacing it was a bit of a struggle as I didn’t want to disassemble half the model, but I managed to get everything back together with limited swearing. The lift now works better (not perfectly, but a marked improvement)
