Wendy’s Robotime Christmas Workshop ![]()
A Journey Illuminated by Creativity ![]()
We recently sent a batch of Robotime kits to Wendy’s classroom in Barcelona and the kids’ reactions were honestly so heartwarming.
Wendy @Wenbare , a teacher from Barcelona, also a Robotime enthusiast. She believes that crafting is not only a fun hands-on activity, but also a powerful way to help children develop focus, patience, and practical skills through classroom practice.
When we learned that this could genuinely help the children, we immediately decided to donate some kits to the primary school where she works.
Under Wendy’s guidance, the little creators get to explore a variety of model kits in a hands-on learning environment, officially began their Robotime creative journey.
From the very first day, you could feel the excitement in Wendy’s classroom. ![]()
The kids(around 9 or 10 years old) couldn’t wait to finish their regular their schoolwork just so they could start on their kits.
Fortunately, it was the last few weeks of the term, so they had a bit more free time than usual, and many of them even kept crafting during their short breaks.
As the lessons went on, Wendy found herself genuinely moved by how focused the children were. They became more confident with each step, picking things up quickly. Whenever one child struggled, another would quietly slide over with their own toolkit to help, turning the classroom into a small community of helpers.
The students were completely absorbed in their creations, gently fitting pieces together and whispering ideas back and forth. Every careful movement added to the warm and lively rhythm of the room.
The activity continued, something even more touching began to happen between the students and Wendy. Children’s curiosity, excitement, and genuine enthusiasm shone through in their everyday interactions. With Wendy’s guidance and support, the activity became a cherished shared memory for everyone involved.
“Thank you for introducing me to a new hobby.”

“I want to keep the box and all the pieces so I can remember this moment forever… and remember you.”

Even during short breaks, the children would sneak in a few minutes to continue building. One student proudly exclaimed:
“I want kits that are challenging, this one is perfect!”

“I hope there are more Christmas kits… I want them for every holiday!”

And for some, their creativity had truly been sparked:
“Next time I build a Christmas tree, I think I can already adjust the arrangement all by myself!”

The Christmas Fireplace kit sparked the children’s creativity in the sweetest ways! Every tiny paper gift, miniature candle, and even the stockings hanging on the fireplace offered just an appropriate level of challenge, allowing the students to focus on building without feeling frustrated.
The kit was thoughtfully designed with the children’s experience in mind: pieces were pre-cut, and most parts don’t required strong glue, making it easy for them to assemble while concentrating on decorating and personalizing their creations. The children especially enjoyed the small details, and their hearts melted when they spotted the little cat in the window.
Wendy mentioned that in the future, they may try more complex models, but this one was truly the perfect place to begin.
Seeing the students cherish every moment of building meant the world to Wendy , and also for Robotime. It was deeply moving and profoundly meaningful. It strengthened our belief in the importance of giving back and we hope to continue bringing lights and inspiration wherever we can.
