Wow! Your students did an amazing job on this kit. It looks beautiful
that’s the nice thing about Rolife kits, items are precut and made simple that beginners can really follow. I’m sure they are all so proud of what they have accomplished ![]()
Will the kids be taking the kits home? Or will it be displayed in class?
That’s so awesome! I think this is the kit I ordered for my two nieces…but not 100% sure…LOL! Happy to know they were fairly easy.
Aww wow look at them! I’m so glad they had a great time! ![]()
It’s such a wonderful thing for you and Robotime to do! Now I wonder how the rest are getting along? ![]()
so amazing. the children did great. happy time
Yes, absolutely. If they had started this hobby years ago, building the same kits I began with, they would have found them far too difficult, and we would have had to work on a single regular kit all together, and we definitely would have spent months finishing it. So these beginner kits are absolutely perfect for them.
And yes, the idea is to keep them on display until everyone finishes. Once they’re all done, they’ll be able to take their kit home. Since the first term ends on the 19th, it might be that day. But, If I see they already have to take a lot of things home (albums, postcards…), maybe they’ll take it a bit earlier ![]()
If you ordered this, they’re going to love it! How old are your nieces? Have they built a kit before? ![]()
Me too!!
eheh
I will start posting updates of the other kits today if I have time to write the post. I’m choosing between the two bonsais, but you’ll notice the difference right away because the ones coming next, except for a few small things like the flower details, are all wood, and they’re already running into more difficulties ![]()
Thank you, @ThaoNguyen ![]()
They have not. I just looked at my delivery status and realized it is not the same kit though. Mine is called the Christmas Miniature house. They are 11 and 15. I hope this is something they will enjoy. @Wenbare
I can imagine! I haven’t build a flower myself but I believe the petals and stems can be tricky! They’ll be reaching out to you for help while working hard to figure things out! ![]()
I love reading these posts. Tell them they did a great job and must feel proud. I think most of them will continue building
Don’t worry, I’m sure they’re going to love it and enjoy it just as much. Since it’s one of the newer kits, the pieces will come like in this one, which makes everything easier for them to assemble. And they’re older than my students, so they’ll have even more skills to rely on!!
As long as you show them how to read the instructions and give them a few tips, like using a glue stick for the paper pieces, for example, I think they’ll be more than fine. They’re definitely going to have fun with it!!!
Let us know how they’re doing, @Nita_Davis ![]()
They really are! I’ve had to help most of them press the petals and small pieces because they’re tiny and delicate, and they’re afraid of breaking them. Also, the outer part of the flowers is very fragile, a few of them have already broken… I’ll tell you all about it in the post about the flowers, you’ll see ![]()
Oh, I am sure that they will! @Wenbare
I’ll tell them, thank you!! And yes, I think so too!! Many of them are completely hooked, some told me they’re going to ask for kits for Christmas, and others said they’re already building at home with their older siblings, which I think is fantastic. ![]()
Awww so cute! I hope you’re also telling them there’s a bunch of us cheering them on across the screen and across the ocean! ![]()
I’ll tell them!!! And honestly, they’re blown away, they’re on such a high right now. They feel super important, and I’m so, so happy for them!!!
Aww I think it’s because you did a great job!
hehehe they’ve got some virtual fans online.
heheheh thank you ![]()
Also, they’re at an age where the world feels huge, and having any kind of online recognition seems like one of the most incredible things ever to them.
