Thank you @Anje_Leonoza_Mira ![]()
I always test the coverage of the markers on the spare wood. And I was afraid the difference would be bigger between the colors on dark or light wood. Of course I want it to look amazing in the end, so the best thing to do is test.
May I ask what brand are they?
Your very welcome minus
Thank you @kialo I will post every progress update. But I don’t build every day, so next update would be tomorrow. ![]()
Thank you @JDisaduck I do like the color of the wood too much to cover it entirely. And I think it works well with blue ![]()
Thank you @serenebliss_23 I thought they would work well together, but it was a difficult choice. I liked all shades of blue ![]()
You’re welcome @Kycso I was also afraid of ruining the pieces the first time I used color on a kit. So that is why I tried on the wood that would not be needed It is the safest way to test something.
Just try it
and don’t be afraid that something is not perfect. It also adds to the charm to see that something is handmade and customized. ![]()
Thank you @robotime. I’m very glad I can share my tips and experiences here. It might help others to take the leap and try to use color as well. I can totally understand that it sometimes is very nerve wracking because obviously nobody wants to ruin their kits. ![]()
