I always test the coverage of the markers on the spare wood. And I was afraid the difference would be bigger between the colors on dark or light wood. Of course I want it to look amazing in the end, so the best thing to do is test.

You’re welcome @Kycso I was also afraid of ruining the pieces the first time I used color on a kit. So that is why I tried on the wood that would not be needed It is the safest way to test something.

Just try it :wink: and don’t be afraid that something is not perfect. It also adds to the charm to see that something is handmade and customized. :relieved_face:

Thank you @robotime. I’m very glad I can share my tips and experiences here. It might help others to take the leap and try to use color as well. I can totally understand that it sometimes is very nerve wracking because obviously nobody wants to ruin their kits. :smiling_face:
