[DIY & Creativity] Magic Harp - step 5

After a day with no building at all (I had to attend a wedding yesterday for the entire day), and a very slow morning today. I spent an hour in the afternoon and 1,5 more hours in the evening completing step 5 of the Magic Harp.

I needed to build the turning front column and the decorative pieces on top of the harp. Most of the things went easy, some were a little bit tougher. I broke 1 piece from one of the flowers when adding the petals, but luckily it could be fixed with a drop of glue.

Now that more color is added, I think it is looking rather similar to the AI picture, so mission accomplished.

Tomorrow I will complete the final step, but I just tested it again and all works like a charm. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face:

I posted a little video in my story on IG, I will add it there in a post as well when the kit is finished.

Thank you so much @Nita_Davis I guess it really helped I took my time with this one. Every choice I made was better thought through. And I’m very glad with how it is turning out

I am loving the peachy orange color that you added to the mix @Minus_88

That is just the color of the wood that is looking that way because of the blueish accents. I only used different blue markers and a white one. No other colors

I hope the wedding went wonderfully.

I love how it’s turning out! It looks so much like it!

They had a tent in a huge grass field, so the setting was really romantic. Unfortunately the weather was not that good, so we had a few moments of very heavy rain. But the company was good, the ceremony was really nice, the food was great and we danced until 2h am. So it was a good day.

Oh wow! I feel silly. BUT, being a house painter, I know how color can play tricks on the eyes. One day, I was painting grey over a light blue green and it was looking PINK!

It’s not silly at all. It could as well have been a peach colored marker. Colors can indeed play tricks with our eyes. And the light that is on at well isn’t helping either with the colors in the picture.
