Finished…and I have to say that even though painting the edges added several hours to this build, I love the outcome. I even painted the stamens in the center yellow so they’d look more real. I like that there was the option to build the stem longer and put it in a vase, but I like the look of the pot. This was more fun than I expected…I would definitely recommend!
Beautifully done!
Aww it’s really pretty! I absolutely love it and I think you did an amazing job! ![]()
So beautiful
It turned out beautiful, @Tkaplan!! I will start building my Poinsettia tomorrow to take a break and disconnect a little. I’m debating whether to paint it or not, but seeing how gorgeous yours looks, I’m honestly reconsidering it. Although I don’t think I have good enough markers to paint it, so it will probably stay as it is. What I will think about is whether to make the pot or not. Since I don’t have any vase, I’ll probably do it because it looks absolutely adorable.
Your poinsettia turned out beautiful!
It’s always nice to see a build come together after all the hard work put in! Great job! ![]()

Wow! It looks stunning painted. Seeing your pictures is encouraging me to paint mine when it arrives. What paint did you use @Tkaplan ? Did it need several coating?
Beautiful
did you paint the whole leaf or only the edges? The red looks so bright. I love the yellow center ![]()
It is a fun build. I broke one piece but was able to glue it so that no one else will notice. I used Acrylic paint brush markers. I really love them. Have fun with it and show us when it’s finished!
I only painted the edges. I did the leaves, flower petals, and the pot edges. I’m not able to build as fast when I paint but the outcome is worth it.![]()
Thank you!
I used acrylic paint brush markers. I got them on Temu. They are really good but it does take a couple of coats. They dry really quickly so there’s not really a wait time until you can do the next coat.
It turned out really nice
painting the builds takes a lot of time but it is so worth it
