📖 [Rolife Journey] Update: Christmas Street Book Nook Painting Details

Painting the small details… actually relaxing. The time flew by without me noticing.

Details:
:christmas_tree:Coloured the edges green and also used white for the Snow

:lollipop: Stripes on the Candy Cane, colour is slightly off but it works!

:paintbrush:Painting every edges for a more finished look, although I am not sure if I like the raw wood better

:tulip: Added snow on the flowers and leaves and on the ledge…

Really enjoying a slower pace and the festive feeling.

:musical_notes: Listening to Christmas Harp music as I build… Awesome Saturday evening, and feeling much better :innocent:

I’m so glad you’re feeling better! :pink_heart:

Great progress there with your painting! I honestly have a love hate relationship with it hahaha. I don’t really mind the raw edges but I also love it when they’re painting. Only issue is I get sick of painting lol. I think I need to get some markers.

Thank you so much! :yellow_heart: It’s been nice to ease back into things. Haha I totally get the love-hate relationship with painting…I’m the same way. I actually don’t mind the raw edges either, but there’s something so satisfying once everything’s painted. The painting fatigue is real though :joy: Markers might be a fun switch up! They definitely make details feel quicker and less… mentally exhausting = max relaxation

100% I’ve only painted with brushes because that’s what the older kits tell us to do and I got so tired just mid way through it. But I refuse to start building anything until I’ve finished painting so it’s a painful process.

It turned out beautiful :star_struck: I think the painted edges look better than the bare wood, but everyone has their own opinion on that  Your paint job turned out really beautiful. I really love the snow on the flowers.
