I never would have thought that this would be so slow going, but I’m having fun. Worked for several hours again today, and finished the Lily, the lily bud, and the carnation bud. The stamens in the center of the lily were supposed to have yellow stickers, but I didn’t like that look, so I painted them yellow. I decided that I wanted to paint the carnation a peach color. The petals are a lighter peach and the edges a darker peach. I’ll make the full carnation flower tomorrow. I think it’s going to be so pretty!
