✨ My Cozy Builder Starter Pack 🩷

I thought this would be a fun little discussion! Every time I sit down to work on a build, there are a few things I always make sure I have within arm’s reach. They might seem simple, but they make every build session so much more relaxing and enjoyable :two_hearts:

Here’s what’s always in my cozy builder starter pack:

:cup_with_straw: An iced drink to keep me refreshed
:pink_heart: My favorite tweezers because those tiny pieces aren’t going to place themselves
:magic_wand: Plenty of glue—you can never have too much when working on miniatures!
:bouquet: Little flowers and decorations because I love adding extra cozy touches to my finished displays!
:light_bulb: Good lighting is an absolute must so I can see every tiny detail
:musical_notes: A cozy playlist playing in the background to help me relax and get into the building zone
:strawberry: A few snacks nearby because every builder deserves a snack break
:sparkling_heart: And the most important one… patience! Some steps can definitely test it, but seeing the finished miniature makes it completely worth it :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Something else I couldn’t build without is my desk companions! :face_holding_back_tears::two_hearts: They make my creative space feel so warm, happy, and inspiring. Every little Sanrio figure, plant, and cozy decoration makes me smile when I sit down to build

I actually received a few new Sanrio desk companions this week from blind boxes and I couldn’t wait to find them the perfect spot on my desk! I also got the cutest Cinnamoroll light and I’m so excited to hang it up. It’s slowly becoming my dream cozy craft corner, and I can’t wait until everything is in place :light_blue_heart:

Once I finish decorating, I’m planning on sharing a full cozy desk tour! I love seeing everyone’s creative spaces because it’s amazing how each builder makes their little corner uniquely their own :pink_heart:

One of the things I love most about this hobby is how it helps me slow down after a busy day! Building miniatures has become my favorite way to unwind, and creating a cozy little workspace makes the whole experience even better. I always light a candle, put on some music or watch true crime, grab my favorite drink, and just enjoy watching a tiny world come together piece by piece. There’s something so satisfying about it :house_with_garden::sparkles:

Now I have to ask…

:sparkles:What’s in your builder starter pack?:sparkles:
What tool could you never build without? Do you have a favorite pair of tweezers, a special lamp, a lucky desk companion, or even a snack that’s always nearby during a build session? I’d love to hear what makes your workspace feel cozy and uniquely yours! Happy building! :two_hearts:

@Cozy.little.palette your desk is always a favorite of mine and I’m a guy. Colorfully done and inviting. I can’t work without my fav tweezers, my lighting, my work mat and my glue in arms reach. Sounds like a a lot but I’ve done so much more with less!

Fun question! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: For me, the essentials are pretty simple: good lighting, tweezers, glue, a drink nearby, and some music or a podcast in the background.

Haha, I’d also add one more essential: a tiny container for all the little pieces I don’t want to lose.

What a cute desk set up! I can never be organized.
My building desk is also my work desk - so messy but I like this kind of chaos.

Here is my builder starter pack! My absolute must-haves are my favorite pair of tweezers (even if they’re getting pretty old!), glue, my trusty mat, scissors, pliers and a toothpick. I also love using a small ceramic pineapple dish to keep track of all the tiny parts I’m currently assembling. Plus, my building session isn’t complete unless I have an IV of Spades song playlist running in the background :heart:

@Cozy.little.palette this is a fun starter-pack question, and your setup sounds both practical and very you. Good lighting, favorite tweezers, glue, a drink, and little decorations really can make a build session feel calmer before the tiny pieces even begin. It is lovely seeing everyone compare the small tools and habits that keep them building.

@Anje_Leonoza_Mira that tiny container habit is a very practical one. The smallest parts always seem to vanish at the worst moment, so having a little safe spot beside the build can save a lot of searching later.

Haha, exactly! :joy: Those tiny pieces seem to grow little legs the moment they hit the table.

Aww thank you so much! That means a lot

Aw thank you! I really appreciate that! Yess those are all such important necessities! I’ve done with a lot less as well but the more the better hahaha. I like to be fully stocked before my build :joy::sweat_smile::blush:

Omg how could I forgot about that! I always use a container too. It’s perfect for all the tiny details.:joy:

Thank you! It was very much me lol. They can definitely help the build feel calmer and really relax my mindset before I start the build. Thank you again! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Your workspace sounds so cozy! :yellow_heart: I love that you have little desk companions too, they really make a crafting space feel more personal. My builder starter pack would definitely include a good pair of tweezers, glue, plenty of lighting, and my phone for taking progress photos. And whenever I’m building with my kids, our dining table turns into our crafting station, complete with snacks and lots of laughter.

Thank you so very much! I try really hard to make it super cozy. A phone for progesss photos is also such a great one! I love that your table turns into a full blown crafting station, that is amazing :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes, our dining table completely transforms into a little crafting station whenever we build together. It gets covered with tiny pieces, glue, snacks, and lots of laughter. Those are some of my favorite family moments.
