this little container has officially become my dedicated tool cup 
right now i mostly use:
• B-7000 glue
• angled + fine tip tweezers
• mini screwdrivers
• patience (sometimes)
i’m still pretty new to the hobby, so i wanted to ask — what are your go-to tools, organization tips, or building hacks? anything you wish you knew when you first started?

I use fine tip tweezers
Ive bought different glues but b7000 is a good one ! Heres my glues and i use acrylic paint pen markers double ended from amazon ! Excuse the mess lol ! My craft room gets untidy ! I use the sandpaper also provided in the kits ! I hope this helps ! Ove also bought clams of amazon but this had taken a time i statred ofvwith the basics like yourself x
I’ use whatever glue is needed lol. Alene’s regular and quick dry. Alcohol glue, b7000. I use acrylic markers and wood furniture markers for edges. I use fine tip and angled tweezers. I have files for sanding bit straight and needle point files. I have used painters tape and scotch tape wherever needed in kits. Also clamps have become my favorite tool for things that just need to stay together and don’t want to. Small angled clippers and a wire stripper. Scissors for paper and cloth. I also use small condiment cups for small screws and metal object for use during a build. You don’t need all what I have it’s just what I have to make my life easier lol
I always save the screwdrivers, tools, sandpaper and Other pieces that get included in certain kits! For organizations…i dont do any. My table gets so disorganized 
its like a tornado has hit.

My craft table is also my work table. I usually build while watching movies or videos.
It is hard to be organized but I try my best. ahaha.

ooo the acrylic paint pens are such a smart idea 
i never even thought of that!! I also keep the double sided tape, I have lots left over. Yes the tweezers provided are not great… I need to invest in betters ones! also your organization setup looks so satisfying, love it! 
ok wait the condiment cups for tiny screws is GENIUS i’m stealing that idea immediately hahaha! also i feel like everyone eventually evolves into having an entire glue collection LOL, and love the clamps idea!!
honestly the ‘creative tornado’ workspace might just be part of the hobby at this point 
mine is only clean for about 10 minutes, then it’s chaos!!
I also have a show playing in the background on my laptop! keeps me busy! 
You can also add the cutting mat if you don’t have it yet. It helps and you will need it too. Personally, it made me happier building when I had it. I felt like I am a legit crafter having that cutting mat 
I don’t use the tweezers that came with the model kit. I have my own tweezers. As for screwdrivers, I have to get rid of some or give them away because there are too many.
Hi @samca, your dedicated tool cup is such a smart little setup. B7000 glue, fine tweezers, mini screwdrivers, and patience make a very relatable starter kit. This thread is already turning into a great tip corner for new builders.
I usually leave the tools that came with the device in their boxes.
And I bought some finer tweezers.
I think that’s pretty much all of the essential tools I would use. Sometimes I have a little extra sandpaper on hand though.
@samca im lucky to have a craft room ! And have a look for the acrylic paint pens there fab i changed the coulors of my leisure time tea room furniture !
Love your craft kit… yours is neater than mine I really need to organize my things a bit better.
