Your desk looks so nice! I like to keep a drink close. A snack from time to time, I get so lost in building that I forget to eat anyway 
. For the rest I keep my table as empty as possible so I have enough space to put all the different parts around me without getting lost

Whenever I start a kit, I always grab my scissors, tweezers, and pencil. Hehe.

I have a little tool box with my essentials… scissors, ruler, tweezers, nail file, various glues and a utility knife. Always have to have snacks and a diet pepsi close by also

A tool box is such a smart idea to keep all your materials! Snacks and a drink are very important!
My builder starter pack is similar to yours. The only swap I would make is the flowers for some colored pencils and sandpaper. I also sometimes watch TV instead of listening to music.

I try not to have iced drinks on the table specially when there are papers to cut. I am so clumsy, i’m afraid the paper, stickers, or cardboard might get wet and be damaged.
