💞 Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Giveaway Round 2-A Family Crafting Story 💞

The way you described your first Rolife meetup with him feels so vivid: carefully assembling the kit together, exchanging ideas, and then seeing his genuine smile at the finished piece. That moment clearly became a memory stitched with love and pride.

You’re welcome. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I’m happy to share my story here about my arts. We’re same. :pink_heart:

I think we are…very much so. @serenebliss_23

This one is for my grandmother, who was nothing but my biggest supporter. I was definitely coddled and my grandmother believed in me no matter what I wanted to do and was always my biggest shield growing up. :pink_heart:

She was the one who took me to art classes because she wanted me to have every opportunity to express my creativity. Unfortunately I can only draw stick figures.

The kit I would choose for my grandmother is Elsa’s Tailoring because it instantly made me think of her. Even now, I still tear up when I think about her because she’s no longer here with me. She knew how to sew and always indulged my wild imagination. I would design outfits for my Barbie dolls, and she would do her very best to bring them to life. :dress:

One of my favorite childhood crafting memories happened when I was about 8 years old. We had a school project where we were asked to paint a picture of our family. I remember drawing simple stick figures because that was the best I could do at the time. My mom sat beside me and patiently taught me how to choose colors that would make the painting more vibrant and meaningful. She encouraged me to be creative and assured me that there was no right or wrong way to express my ideas through art. What made the experience even more special was that while I was painting, she baked cookies for me to enjoy as a snack. The smell of freshly baked cookies filled the house, and I remember feeling so happy, loved, and inspired. Looking back, it wasn’t just about completing a school project, it was a moment when my mom nurtured my creativity and made me believe that creating something with my own hands could be fun and rewarding.

One of my most memorable crafting moments as a parent was working on a diamond painting with my daughter, Cia, who loves diamond painting as much as I do. Our favorite project was “The Last Supper,” which took us more than a week to complete. It was a challenging piece, but it became one of our most treasured bonding experiences. Every day, we would spend about two hours sitting side by side, placing the tiny diamonds and watching the artwork slowly come to life. What made it truly special wasn’t just the finished masterpiece, but the conversations we shared along the way. We talked about her day at school, her friends, her dreams, and all the little things happening in her life. Those quiet moments allowed us to connect in a way that busy schedules often don’t allow. By the time we completed the painting, we had created more than just a beautiful piece of art, we had created lasting memories together. Every time I look at that diamond painting, I’m reminded that crafting is not only about making something beautiful with your hands, but also about building relationships and cherishing time with the people you love.

If I could choose a Robotime kit to represent this memory, I would pick the Rolife Cozy Living Lounge. To me, it symbolizes the warmth of family, togetherness, and the comfort of spending meaningful time at home. Just like our crafting moments, every tiny detail in the miniature tells a story and reminds me that the most precious memories are often created during the simplest moments spent together.

Oh my, reminiscing about those moments makes me so happy! Thank you @Robotime

A small crafting moment I’ll always treasure was building this miniature dollhouse with my mum — our very first build together. We spent hours piecing together tiny details, figuring things out as we went, and admiring each little section as it came to life. There were moments of laughter, patience, and teamwork, especially when working with the delicate pieces and lights. Seeing the finished house glow for the first time felt incredibly rewarding. It wasn’t just about creating something beautiful; it was about spending quality time together and making memories we’ll both remember for years. :two_hearts::house_with_garden::sparkles:

I pick the Rolife Puppy Cozy Villa :sparkles:

It was much need to be creative and resourceful to save money  I am thankful because this made me more creative with the resources available for me at the time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. What amazing memories you have with all of those great dresses she made for you. She sounds like she was an amazing lady. My mother is a seamstress and only recently retired at 79. @JDisaduck

Building that dollhouse with your mother sounds like sun fun. I always love seeing things when the lights come on. Thanks for sharing @sophieskye

I have never tried Diamond Art painting @MamaNheza . It sounds like something wonderful to do together with a loved one.

One of my favorite childhood memories was doing nature based crafts with my mother. She had always wanted to be an artist and she channeled that dream and her talent and her maternal instinct into making crafts with us. One of my favorite was making corn husk dolls out of the dried husks of corn on the cob we shucked. (She also one who to make a chore seem like fun!) We lived in a house in the foothills of a mountain range, with big pine trees around our house. Doing the A-frame cabin reminded me of those times and I loved modifying it to make it an even more personal memory.
