Briefly describe how you got your very first kit and how you fell in love with ROKR / Rolife.
The very first Rolife kit that I got was Kiki’s Magic Emporium! To my shame, I still haven’t fully completed it I got stuck trying to bend the tiny wire pieces into drawer handles — and then I actually ran out of wire. I decided to take a short break… which somehow turned into finishing a few other kits first.
Still, I absolutely love Kiki’s Magic Emporium — the design is so detailed and whimsical, it really feels like stepping into a little magical world. I think this kit was inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service, which remains one of my favorite animated movies (I’m a total Studio Ghibli fan). I can’t wait to get back to it soon and finally see it all come together — I bet it’ll look perfect next to my Harry Potter collection!
Earlier this year, I was looking for a hobby to free up some time for myself. I found the Rokr fan page on Facebook and immediately thought it would be a fun hobby for me. For my birthday in February, I requested several builds from Rokr and Rolife. I started with a non-mechanical build and painted it right away. Before I started, I read tips on the Facebook fan page about the best way to paint a build. I was very happy I found the Rokr fan page because I found ideas for painting builds there. I don’t know if I would have come up with the idea of painting a build otherwise. It all went well right away, although assembling the small parts was tricky. After building this build, I never stopped building. #Rokrautumn
I really really really love things to do with owls, so when i saw this by chance in 2022 on the internet i ordered it rightaway, i also have the owl clock ( ROKR Owl Clock LK503), but the one in the picture was my very first one.
My first encounter with Rolife was when I wanted to try making miniature houses but didn’t know where to start — so I looked for something easy for beginners. That’s when I discovered their Super Creator series, and I instantly fell in love!
The instructions were super easy to follow, and the tiny details were just amazing. What makes it even cooler is that each set comes with working lights, bringing every little scene to life.
They’re perfect for creating mini worlds with my figure collection — and my kids love playing with them too! It’s such a fun and relaxing hobby that sparks creativity for the whole family.
This was my first rolife kit, it started an addiction… I now obsessively build anything miniature and have a stash of kits to feed my need… I never knew the rush you get when you place that last piece could be so addictive and the pride every time you look at what your hands did… It amazes me that I can build such beautiful things with these old hands
This was my 1st ever kit that I ever put together. I loved how it wasn’t too hard and how everything was so small. I then had something i could look back on and go, “you know what? I made that” i love being able to do these kits and know i did it. Especially kits that are a little more challenging.
Miller’s Garden is my very first miniature set from Robotime. I had so much fun building it, and it was incredibly exciting. It truly was a fantastic experience for me! @Robotime
This was my first kit. Once I started it, I couldn’t stop. I remember watching YouTube videos of people doing DIY, and I wanted to do one so bad, that’s how I found Rolife. Since then, I have already built five Rolife kits.
I’ve always love little trinkets, figures, and doll houses. I came across rolife on instagram and wasn’t sure if I wanted to pursue what I’ve always love. So, I started out small with the “Lovely Room” corner and couldn’t stop from there. Of course, I would add a little bit of my own touch and trinkets in some as well. And next thing you know, I began building an empire and I love it! !
I am a huge fan of motorcycles - all kinds! I used to ride an Electra Glide HarleyDavidson but my health began to interfere, especially my balance. I had Lego Harley Davidson that my wife convinced me to finish; It had been boxed for 3 years. Once completed I started looking into other builds. Lego was just so expensive and then I discovered ROKR and its Cruiser Motorcycle. That was January 4th, 2025!!! I have been hooked and addicted to ROKR ever since. Im not sure the total builds, but it must be around 50.
My first kit was Becca’s Baking House I wanted to start with something relatively easy and I’m obsessed with mini bakery items Ever since I finished it I have been hooked!! I have completed over 13 kits since and the love remains
Alice Tea Shop was my first Rolife kit. I find it in books a millions and had to make it since Alice in Wonderland is my favorite. I’ve been making kits since my mom passed away and I went through a divorce as a way to keep my anxiety and depression away. I have made about 20-30 kits since then and really enjoy making them.
This was my first official rolife kit. Joys peninsula living room! I had done another brand first, but Rolife was much better in terms of supplies and customization. Ease of instructions were also something to be applauded. Gave me the freedom to customize the kit and make it my own! I haven’t turned back since!
Here is my Rolife Bar! My first Rolife Miniature Kit I completed! I have the BT21 figures and when I saw Rolife miniature from Teso Life Store here in Chicago, I thought that it will be best for my figures to have their own house, room, or a Bar to go to. So here it is!!
I will be buying more for sure. I love the details!
My first ROKR kit was the globe. My wife gave it to me two years ago. She discovered it by chance online and was so excited that she gave it to me. Up until then, I had only built various Lego sets. But it was a fascinating new experience to build the globe from wooden pieces and see the beautiful result. Since then, I’ve been bitten by the 3D wooden puzzle bug, and I’ve painted and assembled countless ROKR and Rolife models. Now, every room has new shelves to display the beautiful models.
