Hi Robotime family :yellow_heart:

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are coming.
Before we become parents, we are someone’s child.

Sometimes, the moments we remember most
are the quiet ones shared with family.

A small table.
Scattered pieces.
Someone patiently building with you :puzzle_piece:

This time, let’s embrace those moments together :revolving_hearts:

:sparkles: Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the quietest ones.
A little time together — that’s what truly matters.

Let’s embrace the moment :yellow_heart:

I remember sitting down with my whole family creating a big canvas full of artwork from each of us. My dad and I were super excited to be creating this and having each member of our family get to express their creativity in their own way.

Even my mum who doesn’t find herself to be a creative person enjoyed herself and we all jsut sat and spoke for hours while creating our masterpiece, some parts aligned or we worked together to bring sections together whereas other parts were a mismatched mess. We even got the animals involved with their paw prints!

Overall I think it was beautiful and even if the end product wasn’t pretty I think the experience was everything and one I will truly never forget. I plan to be the type of parent my parents are to me.

The Rolife Kit I think reminds me of this is the Rolife Happy Meals Kitchen Super Creator Miniature House (DW008) as it brings a sense of warmth and comfort.

I remember my childhood as very happy and beautiful, especially with my mother.
I lost my father when I was 7 years old during a family trip to Galicia; it turned out to be the worst vacation ever.
Those were very difficult days, but once she got over it, we made a thousand plans together. I have wonderful childhood memories thanks to her.

I was able to do everything a child that young wants to do.

It’s true that I didn’t have as many toys as my classmates, since my mother was a widow and there was only one income at home, and I went to a private school.

But we made up for it with a thousand free activities in the city, painting competitions, and so on.

The dog’s name is Hada, she belongs to my mom.

I’m not uploading a photo of her out of respect, but here’s an AI-generated image of us both today when she came to visit me at my apartment. She stayed for a few days and we did Korean beauty sessions with face masks, hehe.

The photo is real; it was based on one we took together in my apartment.

Which Rolife kit reflects all of this?

Well, I don’t have any floral ones, but all the floral ones reflect my mother; I love her more than anything in this world!

Also, as a fun fact, my mom has owned a flower shop for over 15 years, so floral kits are ideal.

:pink_heart:

My dad, a professionally-trained chef, and my mother, an excellent home cook and baker, have always encouraged me to experiment in the kitchen. Whether it be learning how to make a new dish and cooking dinner for the family, they have taught me so much and I have learned so many important lessons from them. No matter what I wanted to try to bake or cook, they always let me create whatever I wanted using their ingredients. Sometimes, they would even help me clean up the mess afterwards! I really appreciate their willingness and support that allowed me to experiment in the kitchen. I have many fond memories of baking with my mom and cooking with my dad. I think the kit that best represents these moments is the Rolife Happy Meals Kitchen (DW008). It displays a cozy kitchen where a family can gather and make memories together, just like the ones me and my family made.

When I was in elementary school, we had a dedicated DIY class, which was always my favorite. I remember one time the teacher taught us to knit, and from then on my classmates and I spent all breaks just working on our scarfs haha. My mom has always been amazing at all sorts of crafts: sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, etc. I was really jealous back then that her knitting was super neat, and mine was all over the place. But it was still nice to have an activity to do together in the evenings. I guess the ROKR kit that I would choose to represent that time would be the Cuckoo clock. It has the same granny vibe of all the hobbies I’ve picked up over the years:sweat_smile: I also recently got it as a gift and very excited to build it soon.

Aww. That’s such a beautiful memory. You captured the heart of what makes creative projects so special. I love how your whole family contributed to the canvas, each in their own way, and even the animals got involved with their paw prints. It’s such a vivid picture of togetherness, laughter, and shared creativity.

My Mom  was an avid jigsaw puzzler. Thats where my love of puzzles and putting stuff together comes from. When I was too young to really know how to do one, I used to help by picking out the edges from the box. Today, I carry on the hobby. I’ve been to friend’s houses where they have a puzzle going, only to be told ā€œdon’t do the whole thingā€! My love of jigsaws inspired a dear friend to send me Henry’s Chocolate Shop. She wanted to see what I thought. Well, that was all it took! I have completed 8 kits so far (my favorite to date is the Coffee Factory). I have 5 more just waiting for me to start.

Mom (and me!) was a coffee drinker, so I share this photo of my Coffee Factory. I wish Mom was still alive, I think she’d really love the Robotime kits.

Reading this theme really brought me back to a memory I’ve always kept close to my heart.

When I was young, I grew up with two older brothers. We didn’t have much, and getting toys wasn’t something that happened often. I still remember one year, my mom took us to a toy store and told us we could choose one box of LEGO.

Just one — for the three of us.

We took forever to decide. Walking around, looking at every box, imagining all the possibilities… and in the end, we picked a fire station with a fire truck, because we had just been watching a TV series about firefighters.

When we got home, we didn’t rush it. We sat down together and started building, piece by piece. The dining table was taken over by LEGO parts for days, so we ate at a tiny coffee table instead. No one complained — we were too busy enjoying that time together.

I don’t even know where that set is now after all the moves over the years. But that doesn’t matter. What stayed with me is that feeling — the three of us, with our mom nearby, building something together. It was simple, but it was one of the happiest times.

That’s why crafting means so much to me even now. It’s not just about the finished piece — it’s about the moment, the people, and the memories you build along the way.

If I had to pick a kit, I probably wouldn’t choose just one — I’d pick a few from the same series.
So after we finish building, we can put them all together and create a little street of our own

Maybe something from a Christmas series — so it can also become part of our decorations when we gather together.

I just love the idea of building something piece by piece, and then seeing it all come together — not just the kits, but the memories too :christmas_tree::sparkles:

Maybe @Robotime there could be a series of products for close friend or family to build together , and the kit could have little customization for putting name on it ?

When I was little, my father once bought me a toy fire truck. For a long time after that, I dreamed of becoming a firefighter.

A child’s imagination is truly something else. And when kids come together, it is not just imagination added together. It multiplies. With the toys in our hands, we created story after story, and each story grew into its own little world.

A while ago, I was having dinner with some friends and we ended up talking about this. I said that from the Sakura series, we can already see how a well-designed product line can create a wonderful experience for players. Not only through the overall visual impression, but also through the way the details connect with each other. In the end, we all came to the same conclusion: this is something many of us already recognize and can agree on. It just takes time for user and market feedback to make its way into decision-making and product development.

I still clearly remember the Halloween event on our forum last November, when you shared your theme park with everyone. We were truly amazed by it.

Thank you for your story, your creativity, and the emotion you brought to all of us.

Aww thank you so much :face_holding_back_tears:
I’m really happy you still remember the Halloween theme park!

I totally agree with what you said — when different kits can connect together, it really feels like creating a little world with stories inside. That’s probably why building miniatures always feels so special to me .

Actually, that idea is also what inspired my very first meetup that’s coming soon (May 30). I purposely picked the Super Creator food series because I love the idea that everyone builds their own little shop, and in the end all the different stories and creations come together as one building.

That’s also why my little slogan is ā€œShare joy, build together.ā€

Before I became a mother, I was a child. And I think my love for crafting comes from my mom. She’s a preschool teacher who enjoys painting just as much as I do, but her true passion has always been cross‑stitch. When I was young, she taught all of us daughters how to cross‑stitch, starting us off with small cartoon designs. She bought me a Tweety Bird pattern during a school vacation, and we spent that time bonding over stitches and colors. Those moments of creating together are a special memory I will always treasure.

If I had to choose one Rolife kit that truly represents me, it would be the Super Creator Cozy Living Lounge. It instantly reminds me of our small living room, where we would sit together feeling cozy and working on stitches. It brings back the simplicity of our life and the simple yet meaningful bonding we shared.

Here’s how AI brought it to life. Combining the Cozy Living Lounge set with my core memory. :orange_heart:

My family is not overly creative, I am the exception lol. But my Mum bless her, signed us up for a mosaic class so we could spend time together. I have never seen someone make so much mess, there was grout over everything! We laughed so hard, it is such a special memory. I would associate it with the ROKR Owl Clock as we mosaiced a bird and it’s my mum’s spirit animal :two_hearts:

Your memories highlight the strength of your bond with your mother and the beauty of finding happiness in simplicity. :blossom: It’s a reminder that what shapes us most isn’t what we have, but the love and imagination we share.

Oh, thank you so much!

You’ve hit the nail on the head, capturing what my text symbolizes.

It was my daughter who introduced Rolife to me. Now, I am more addicted to this hobby than her. Eventually, my husband also started with his first kit. We all attended our first meet-up together as a family last March. And we will be attending the next meetup together as well this Saturday!

I would choose our first kit together which was Slow Life Cafe.

As a child I lost my dad when I was only eight years old. I have very little memory of him but one I remember fondly is of him making fly casts for fishing. I remember sitting down with him and just watching, in awe, at how intricate and beautiful the fly were and how delicate they looked.

As a parent, I have an autistic daughter who loves jigsaw puzzles. One Christmas we bought her a large Disney puzzle. She loved sitting with me, finding the pieces but the best part? Her squeal of delight and joy if she managed to find where it went in the puzzle. The pure look of joy on her face is a memory which will always stay with me.

My favourite model to build to represent both these times? The pinball machine. The joy of building something that all of my family can play with and enjoy is something that cannot be bought.

Some of the most meaningful family memories are created in the quietest moments.

Recently, our family gathered around the table to build a Robotime Eiffel Tower together. Piece by piece, we worked as a team — helping each other, sharing laughs, and enjoying the simple joy of creating something side by side.

The Eiffel Tower has always held a special place in our family story, which made this activity even more meaningful for us. Now, being able to experience it again through the eyes of our children made the moment feel extra special.

Aww. That’s such a heartfelt story. You’ve beautifully captured how your parents nurtured your creativity in the kitchen. It’s wonderful that your dad, with his professional training, and your mom, with her home‑grown baking skills, gave you the freedom to experiment, even letting you make a mess and helping clean up afterward. That kind of support is priceless and clearly left you with lasting memories.
