For now, I don’t have much moments with my family since my parents are separated now and my sister lives now in different city. But through Robotime meetup, I can finally meet in person the friends that I’ve met online which I consider my family as well even though we’re not blood related. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Me and my friends can now build together on one same table. We share same interests and hobbies and some of them have already experienced building but in different line like gundam. I’m really happy since I don’t have a lot of closed friends in real life and I’m happy to share bonds with my online friends. Thank you Robotime. :sparkling_heart:

I am so happy that I first saw these at my younger sons house almost 3 years ago. I mentioned to my older son how cool I thought they were. I was fishing for Christmas ideas…and he took the bait…but in a different way. HE gifted me with one. The globe. I cursed the whole time I was doing it. I prayed for 6 more hands…LOL! After it was done, I immediately ordered another…and another…and. Well, you know. Just finished build number 109 in about 2 years. Now I am able to share my love of this craft with my great niece Makenzie since I am thousands of miles away from my sons. I’ve also gifted my Mom and 2 best friends with customized models as well. Building these amazing models is now my favorite part of life…bringing me such joy to share my creations with others…and watching others bring life to THEIR creations.

I have known Robotime kits since June 2025. At first it was a curiosity and wanting to have the flower basket on display all the time rather than throwing out fresh flowers after a few days. I started to collect Cappodimonte flower baskets for several years. However, since I found out about the wooden flowers it brings back a lot of childhood memories being around grandpa who was a carpenter and does a lot of crafting items from wood. Since then my interest has grown and it brings so much relaxation and joy to my life. The flower basket also bring smiles to my mother and grandma’s face. For that meant a lot.

Most recently, I travelled back to my home country to get ready for Lunar New year and I have brought the kits with me as a gift for them. Because of the age difference of 15 years, we hardly share things together. However, by doing the puzzles together, have brings us closer together. We have found common interest in building and she loves the experience. I gifted her the Tower Bridge that I have received as a gift from Robotime. First time I introduced her to building and it brings so much joy into her and she was able to complete it in 2 hours. Impressive for first time builder. Yes it is a small build but it brings an enormous happiness to our time spend together.

A gift is just a gift but a true value of a gift is when it brings so much joys to our lives and strengthen our bond with others. The gift that they truly appreciate and enjoy. Thank you so much @Robotime for your generosity as your gift has bring so much happiness and excitement when I received it as part of the contest in 2025. Now I have successfully pass on and share those happiness with others. :sparkling_heart:

This is truly a story of joy passed on to others…as I am trying to do so with my family.

My husband started building these Rokr/Robotime/Rolife/Rowood kits in 2022 with a small kits (the one in the picture) in time they got bigger and bigger the once he was building, I joined him last year in 2025 with one of the plastic flower builds. We had some marriage problems, you know how this goes being busy with life and having children, you sometimes forget each other due to that, we weren’t sitting much together anymore, now we are both building we are more connected again, we help each other when one of us has a problem with a kit, we ask each other on advice on how to do something while building, well I ask him more on advice over a kit than my husband, because he has already more experience than I have on building kits, but I can assure you that this brought back closer together, we find connecting due to having the same hobby

I love watching how you and your husband have grown together on building these models. You each have your own strengths in doing so. It’s a wonderful thing! @Sofie_Vanderbeken

@Nita_Davis you can almost say this has saved our marriage because we needed something to connect again and we somehow find that connection back due to a same buiding hobby and i’m really grateful for that

Crafting gives me a deep sense of accomplishment. Every finished piece becomes a symbol of effort and love, reminding me that I can create beauty through these little miniatures. :flexed_biceps:

I love how it has changed my daily life—it replaces stress with calm, screens with papers, and ordinary routines with joyful bonding moments.

As a mom, crafting gives me both identity and fulfillment beyond household duties. It’s a constant reminder that creativity is an essential part of self-care. :orange_heart:

This is wonderful! I’m really looking forward to meeting all of you at the Robotime meetup as well. I’m so happy that you’ve found a family within this community. Always remember—a family doesn’t have to be bound by blood; it’s defined by the feeling of belonging and connection.

It’s actually very rewarding. I hardly talk to her because she’s always studying. This time I get to spend time with her.

This is so wonderful, Nita. The way you share your craftsmanship skills and generously gift your loved ones is truly inspiring. It’s also so lovely to see how you and Makenzie bond through your shared passion for crafting.

Ooohhh will you attend this coming meetup on March? Yes, you’re absolutely right. Sometimes, I feel that I’m myself more to the people I’ve met online than my friends in real life.

It’s so nice that these kits have brought you closer together, even across an age gap, because of the bond you both enjoy. I’ve also witnessed how my cousins—aged 11, 18, and 7—find joy in crafting miniature kits together, creating such a special connection through creativity.
