My heart is SO full right now :face_holding_back_tears::pink_heart:
My grandma surprised me with these for my birthday… even though it’s not for another 2 weeks!! She’s flying down soon, but couldn’t wait and had them shipped to me early :sob::sparkles:

I seriously wasn’t expecting this at all… and she picked the CUTEST builds:

:hot_beverage: Dream Coffee Factory (this one looks insanely detailed… I’m already obsessed)
:croissant: Happy Corner – Nancy’s Bake Shop (you KNOW I love a cozy bakery moment)

It made me realize something…
these builds aren’t just about crafting. They hold memories. And I already know when I build these, I’m going to think about this moment :pink_heart:

I love that she supports my little miniature hobby like this :face_holding_back_tears: it makes building these feel even more special.

Do you prefer for mechanical kits or DIY? I’m torn between both! I love how mechanical models move but also love the DIY process!

Your grandma is so sweet! She chose some great kits. I prefer mechanical models because I am too much of a perfectionist for DIY kits.

Oh what thoughtful gifts, I bet you’ll love building them. I’ve done a dream coffee factory, so you can find all my different posts with all kinds of comments on that, but I have not built the other one.

I like doing both even though I won’t be doing any DIY again any time soon. I made 5 of those without anything else in between so I’m not ready to dive into that again.

I love mechanical kit just a bit more because I find it more satisfying to see it actually work.

Omg 5?! Without a break in between that’s a lot! I like doing smaller kits between DIY’s just to give my mind a little break lol.

Haha of course I took a break :rofl:. And those were not actually full days. But in 3 evenings and 2 weekend days where I spent a little more time on it, I got it done. That’s why I counted it as 5 days :wink:.

It’s just really fun to make and I always have a hard time putting it aside :smiling_face:
