[heartwarming] The Carousel Is Finally with My Granny

I didn’t want to let any more time pass now that my granny’s birthday was already last week, so I finally gave her the carousel.

I was so happy giving it to her that I didn’t stop to take photos or record her face when I showed it to her working, but I did manage to take some pictures once she brought it upstairs and placed it with some of the other kits I’ve given her over time, like the Cuckoo Clock, which she is still absolutely in love with, the Wooden Flower Bouquet, and Olimpia’s Workshop, which is my customized version of Elsa’s Tailoring.

It makes me laugh because she always tries to place them all in the dining room, in the same area, and she proudly shows them to everyone who visits her house.

Also, since this kit doesn’t work with batteries and only runs with a cable, my dad placed it near the edge of the cabinet and left it connected with a very long USB cable, because there’s a socket right in that corner.

My granny is so happy because now she can turn it on whenever she wants. In fact, one of the kits I gave her before even ended up with the light burnt out because she used to leave it on at night because she loved having it that way, almost like a little point of light in the dining room .

Now I need to start thinking about what the next kit could be for Christmas or for her next birthday, because I’ve already given her some very big ones and she honestly has no more space left!!!

I really hope the surprise made her happy and cheered her up a little, because she really needs that these days. Also, to all of you, thank you so much for reading and for following me along in this carousel adventure! .

I had actually thought about that too, to be honest, but all her walls are already full of puzzles, like the one you can see on the back wall, and there’s also a huge framed collage of photos from her trips, so there isn’t much free wall space either…
