DIY & Crafting Club Meetup 02
February 1, 2026 | GTA (Mississauga)
There’s a special kind of energy that fills a room when people of all ages and backgrounds gather to create. Our DIY & Crafting Club Meetup 02 was a perfect reflection of that.
On February 1st, our workshop welcomed participants as young as five years old, alongside couples, friends, professionals, students, and makers from every walk of life. Men and women alike joined, united by curiosity, creativity, and a shared love for building something meaningful with their hands. Thank you to @Robotime_Addiction for the support and helping me get the workshop started ![]()

Kits & Materials
The tables were alive with a variety of Robotime kits:
• Super Creator kits: Panda Hot Pot, Double Joy Bubble Tea
• Elegant builds: Wooden Flower Bouquet, Daily Fresh Flower Frame, Night of the Eiffel Tower, Justice Guard Gun, Old Time Bookstore Frame
Quiet focus fills the room as makers of all ages start assembling their kits
Finger cots were essential for handling tiny pieces, and my baby hammer helped some tricky steps click into place. Special shoutout to @Kycso who came fully equipped with her own tools. We also accommodated participants who needed to switch kits, ensuring that everyone, veteran or first-time builder, could fully enjoy their experience.

The Vibe
Relaxed, calm, and fun.
Watching dozens of participants quietly focused on their builds was truly inspiring. Each table naturally became a mini support network, with people helping each other assemble pieces, problem-solve tricky steps, and celebrate small victories.
Welcoming new makers into our creative community, building confidence one kit at a time
Even library staff visiting the space were impressed, stopping to take photos and noting the remarkable focus and collaboration in the room.
