Quick update on what I’ve been up to lately! (besides the workshop)
First things first: Seahorse Barque is officially on pause
I’m waiting on some after-market parts that will add actual pirate figurines and lighting inside the captain’s day cabin. Totally worth the wait, but yes… delayed for now.
And today, two more beauties arrived- Coffee Dream Factory and Fairytale Amusement Park, both purchased using some of my winnings from the Giveaway gift card
AND here’s the surprise cherry on top…
There was a free gift with purchase over a certain amount, so I also received Glittering Water Lilies as a gift. It’s absolutely beautiful
I am definitely lucky to be able to enjoy my hobby freely! I hope you get all the kits that you love! Perfect for gifts and sometimes you can find them on sale/clearance in stores!
The pirates will be a great addition to your Seahorse Barque. I love the water Lily kit. That’s a really nice freebie…and GIRLLLL, you are gonna need a bigger wheel soon…
I honestly am getting nervous ahahaha excited still but I am like where am I gonna put these?!!! I may need to do some old school building where I build without painting etc. Because I am in need of that feeling of finishing a big kit hehehe
THE WHEEL IS GETTING OUT OF HAND. Lol I catches too quickly… I may need to give some away as gifts at this point, because even after building… I don’t know where I am going to home them Time to change my plans…. I do have big plans!!!
I am so so so excited to keep working on it but Alas, patience is indeed the virtue and I gotta wait for my deliveries to arrive… I ordered a pirate at 1:100 scale but it came to big. The sizing was off I think, so we shall try again!
The mini one I am making right now requires actual painting which is so cool! I did used most of my acrylic pens to make the job faster and easier…and yes Where to put them. I will start gifting them at this point. or selling the ones that out grew me.
Thank you! I hope my tweaking and ideas pay off! I am itching to paint the rest of this ship! I even bought new paint as I ran out of the brown that I was a using
